Toe / Feel the vibe - we will be landing 'home' on Sat 24th March for 2 week will be nice to have a few bevvies again.
Gemma - yeah it's gonna make a big difference with it not being there, hopfully for the good of the errosion probs down that end.

Hello Alan have always been the ringleader even from school days (so my reports said !!)
From what Ganesh tells me, all that were there last year will be there this year, so a full shack again.

Just been looking at all my photos of the River Princess from previous years. It'll be very strange if she's gone when we come back but if it helps lessen the erosion on the beach it'll be a good thing. Phil & Alan, I hope I don't miss the party at Ganesh shack. We've nothing booked yet for next year but hopefully we'll get something soon.

If the river princess does disapear into the sunset as promised, i hope someone will take a series of photos and post them.

better still if a video was taken and that could be posted on a website with a link for all to access

If they move the River Princess this year they will aim for 21st March. This is the highest tide between now until October.
When we left the pump was going full time.

So the 21st March is the big day. Just booked to arrive 25th March, so looks like we'll miss the final departure. I would like to have seen it. Mind you we were told that it was DEFINITELY going May 2006, on a high tide, but that didn't happen. Can we still have that party at Ganesh shack any way? 30 cases of Vin Ballet and a few beers should just about do it! See ya then.

I have seen no mention on the forum for a month or so as to the ongoing work on the old girl preparing for her supposed departure shortly. If they are going to shift her in the next few weeks, major work on her, and dredging around her should be going on now. Mabey someone in Goa at present, with an interest in this long running affair, such as Lez, could give us an update on the work Alan
