Dramaqueen - going to look at those ideas you have mentioned, need a good nudge in the right direction. Have never stuck to a plan this long before (well not since having my boys).
Got some 3/4's down from the loft and can't wear them at the moment, I am going to keep them hanging up as an incentive set myself a target date 29th July (day before my 46th birthday) to loose 1.5 stone would bring me down to my holiday weight of 2001 and I felt great then

Let you know how I get on - I am off this week so it will be easier for me to use PC.

Remember me moved house and that was it. Just got back on the internet has house now built and now out of rented.
Enough of that, but diet non existant for 7months, need to be more stricter, haven't been to spinning since I hurt my shoulder and that has been that.
Fat, unhappy and desperate about losing my weight, but hey peeps now back with you guys I can feel that I am no longer going to be doing it alone.
Go Egypt in 14 weeks and need to lose a stone and more if possibe.
Nice reading up on everything I have missed, glad to be back with my dieting buddies.

Welcome back - house move very stressful Hope all went well
I have just been to SW class and maintained this week - feeling much happier about things in general. Have made a decision I will be a stone and a half lighter by my birthday in 2 months time and with all your help I will do it I know you will be there with me. The new SW mag is full of some lovely recipe ideas.

Just got back from weigh in & lost 2 1/2 lbs, very happy However, celebrating hubbies birthday this week & possability of a celebration meal with work on friday. Only got 3 weeks left for hols & want to lose 6lbs if poss.
Well done to everyone even if you haven't succeeded in a weight loss you've given it a go. Good Luck to everyone & remember it aint easy , if it was everyone would be thin, whatever you do don't give in & you will get to your goal GO FOR GOLD..

Welcome back. I wondered where you were.
Well I'm looking for inspiration, I'm not a dedicated dieter like most of you. But its just over 6 weeks till I go to Algarve for a fortnight and nothing looks good.
Any tips for how to get results in a short period of time? Half a stone would be better than nothing, surely even I can manage a pound a week.

thanks for the welcome..i will be ryind really hard for the next 3 weeks cause i can feel myself getting tense with the thought of the seats on the plane hopefully i wont be a problem, last year i made myself ill and could hardly walk around manchester airport i had a terrible side pain and couldnt eat or drink on the plane however as soon as we landed it went so i realise now it was a bit of stress and tension i am not having that feeling again..well done to all of you that lost weight this week...
I'm off on holiday in 2 weeks. I've lost 1.5stone since Xmas, so feel a bit more confortable about wearing my bikini, but I still have abit of a flabbby belly. Apart from 1000's of sit-ups, has anyone got any stomach flattening/toning exercises/tips they can recommend pls?

Weighed last night and lost 1lb. Over the 2stone mark now and it does feel great. Would like to loose another stone before September - my personal 3 stone target - but the weight loss does seem to be leveling out so will need an extra boost to help me along. Have even been talking about my final goal - OMG that seemed so far away when I first started this diet. Will decide on what that will be closer to my next target I think.
Dont talk to me about aeroplane seats. Its a personal phobia as well. If I had carried on the way I was going, I think I was headed in the direction of having to book two seats and not just a seat belt extension !!! Plenty of motivation there to get me to slim down.

I have done quite well on a plan of 1400 cals / 50g fat a day. Allows me to be flexible and to "save" some up for special occasions. Have lost 38lbs since new year - so half a stone should be a doddle for you

Welcome back, personally I find that SW is for me (I have had some very good reults - although personal problems in the last 2 weeks I have not been so good). I downloaded the first week from the internet and then that was me hooked as I lost approx 5lbs, and have since joined a class. Back on track now I found I was hungry with WW.

Still 4 lbs to go before the holiday target so have too extra good. Would be awful to lose so much but not hit ny first target !!

well ive lost nothing this week....ive been walking to work all week aswell no car...proabaly the chinese i had on saturday 1st time in months...im a bit gutted aswell only a few weeks to go

I did good again this week - 2lb off. Really pleased. Even got a mention in the class meeting as being a "loser" and having lost weight every week since I started Slimming World 14 weeks ago. Most embarrassing but if I can be an inspiration to anyone having a hard time then so be it.
Glad to hear you had a good holiday CazzMicknTom (Cazz ) and 7lb isnt so bad. It could have been a lot worse.
Well done Lally - you can do the 4lb. Im sending Will Power to you right now :wink:. Claire the walking has probably turned all your lbs into muscle this week. Keep at it, Im sure you will have a loss next week. I am sure that there is enough of Will to share with you too !!!!

Just been weighed & managed to lose 1Lb not too disappointed because no walking & hubbies Birthday last week & ate out lunch & evening. Going away in 2 weeks hoping to lose another 4Lb so fingers crossed, mouth shut & loads of walking.

I missed class for the first time this week - had some news which wasn't the best and guess what I ate so couldn't face going.
Back on track today and I will hopefully get better news next week.
