We are due to fly to Holguin from Gatwick on 1st July. Tickets arrived today and it appears we have to check in 4 hours before departure . We are going Star Class Premier and I am sure the check in was a lot shorter than this when we booked last year. Does anyone know if this is a new rule because of security?
hi, flying from gatwick to Sharm El Sheik 25th June, does any 1 know what areoplane we will be flying on? what is the seat formation?
I have to collect my stepchildren from East Midlands airport on Tue 12 Jun, they are on a first choice flight arriving from Cancun Mexico, there mother!! has told me they land at 12pm, but I have a feeling she is not telling the truth, from the First choice wesbite when you book a package it appears that you land at 9.50am.
This has a long history, and I know she is upto something. Can anyone help me, as I don't want to get there late, or the children could be anywhere.
Are you sure its Monday 25th June you are flying? There are no flights from LGW - SSh on a Monday? There are 2x flights on Thursday (28th): FCA470 (757-200) and FCA592 (757-200). These aircraft are configured 3-3 with 233 seats and ceiling mounted IFE. Seats are faced with a nice green leather. They're powered by two Rolls-Royce RB211-535E4 high bypass turbofans each producing 41,500 lb of thrust, proper rocket ships
It's not often I can't answer a question about aircraft, but I can't say I know the length of the seat belts!
Have a great time,
Darren

I can confirm that there is currently an error on all ticket booklets going out to customers at the moment, and if you are travelling on a premium flight you will need to check in 90mins before your flight, id recommend though you ring the admin team to just check but im fairly sure thats how it is.
I've checked OAG for FCA095 CUN-EMA departing 11th June at 1820, and it shows it arriving at 0955 12th June at EMA.
EDIT: I've checked ACARS logs for FCA095 for the last month and these are the aircraft and times the aircraft has been logged inbound to EMA:
29th May: G-OOBL logged @ 09:12 GMT
22nd May:G-OOBK logged @ 11:21 GMT
8th May: G-PJLO logged @ 08:35 GMT
1st May: G-OOBL logged @ 09:25 GMT
Hope that helps,
Darren

Ta in advance
Scotty
glasowchoper,
thanks for the instant reply
Thanks Dazbo, I rest my case, she is a nightmare, I will aim to be at the airport for 9ish, to be on the safe side.
I'll call First Choice this morning to check it out. We are staying overnight in the Clarion Hotel and I gather the transfer time to Gatwick can be a bit hit and miss so the thought of a 6 am start came as a bit of a shock!
Thanksfor the information.
Louise
I hope you are wrong about no flights to Sharm on 25th June, as this is the day I come back from Sharm. If there are no flights out then I will not be able to get back. Oh what a shame!!!!
There is a flight from Manchester FCA258/259 on Monday 25th.
I leave for Sharm on Monday 18th June from Gatwick and return on Monday 25th June. They are not showing the flight anymore, so I assume it is full.
I can only go off the information I have in front of me. After a lot of digging around, I may have found your flight information. According to the information I've found, your flight numbers are FCA470/1. Your flight departs at 1125 and arrivies in SSH at 1835. Is that correct? Or are you on FCA328/9? Regardless, these flights are operated with Boeing 757-200's. These aircraft are configured 3-3 with 28" seat pitch.
Sorry for the confusion, but if we don't have much information go on, its not always easy to dig out the flight stats.

Yep def flying on the 25th june, with eclipse, is any 1 else flying on this day?
If you check out East Midlands flight arrivals either on Ceefax (page 449 I think) or their website http://www.eastmidlandsairport.com/cms/8/arrivals-departures.html - late on the 11th June, they should show a confirmed arrival time for the following morning.
I contacted First Choice about the 4 hour check in time we have been quoted and have been told that this due to "new guidelines which have come into place for international flights". One of the reasons we chose to fly Star Class Premier was because of the pre-booked seats and shorter check in time! We have never been told of this change since booking in August last year.
4 Hours does seem a lot though for any flight. I havent heard of any new regulations but i am going to have a look around.
