Prezeres Hotel - has anyone stayed recently?

Hi All

We are off to Goa on 10th Nov for the 1st time, staying at Prezeres. I know we should have checked reviews of the hotel before we booked........but we didn't. Now I'm getting really worried as recent reports are not good (drunks/noise until 4 in the morning/stroppy staff etc.)

Please can someone reassure me?

This is my 1st posting so I'm hoping someone will take pity on me! :roll:

My husband and I are going to the prazeres on the 17th of nov and we are really worried too ..we shall just have to make the best of it .......it wont be as bad as you think :roll:

Y thankyou Suffolkcaz but have you not heard I only drink coffee.......a beer in any bar sounds good to me ........RE the hotel all we need is a clean bed a hot shower and people to mix with im sure you and I will find all this in the prazeres.......this is going to be your first time in goa and although you have not even went yet .......believe me suffolkcaz you will go back again....and again and again........see you in a few weeks :pele

Hello! going to Goa in March!!counting down the days

, cannot wait, just wondered if anyone had been to the above hotel recently, ive read really mixed reviews about it!!
Also any suggestions on must do things while there? me and my partner are going for two weeks, we're a young couple who enjoy most things!

came back from here a week ago
it was wonderful,
great sized rooms,big clean pool,fantastic food and very helpful staff,would deffinatly use again,
if you can ask for a room in h block facing the fields,they are lovely and quiet and very private
theres a hairdressers, shop, tailors all on site

Hi Trixy,

Definately ask for a room facing the fields or as far away from the bar area as possible because it can get very noisey as the bar will stay open until the last one drops :glynis.

I am going to arrange another meet up in March and will put a post on the site nearer the time would you be interested and how many of you are coming? have you been to Goa before?.

Cartman thats good news about the Prazeres, will put a lot of peoples mind at rest you are going this season.
Mike, we already have a big, big meet planned for St Particks Day at Molly Malones on 17 March. Ive already bought a green blouse, something ive never possessed in my life!!! :shock:

Stayed at The Prazeres in March with friends who had never been to Goa before they enyoyed it so much they are going back to The Prazeres in February. I've booked there again for March next year.

I am so happy to read the last few posts im going to the prazeres on sunday for 3 weeks ....I just hope the bed clothes and curtians match :rofl

and I get a room on a high floor .give me that and im happy ......colleen

And mind ask for a room in H block Irishcolleen as the others have been saying it seems to be ok there, hope its not like Prisoner in Cell Block H tho :oops:

Anyway I am sure you will do your tour of all the rooms til you get one that you like :lol:

H Gang,

Roxey will fill you in when she gets back, she is there now saw her last night at the meet in Teama bar and she was not impressed to say the least, you guys can PM her but she does not get back for another 10 days but she may go to a cyber cafe to collect her mail.

But having said that everybody is different and you can't please everybody.
