Olu hasnt changed much since you were there last year
I certainly didnt notice any aggression but comparing to how it was the first time we went that was probably about 6 years ago Yes I think they have lost a lot of their spark and I for one believe there is fast becoming a certain amount of greed and annoyance that we wont pay their inflated shop prices. £50 now for a fake handbag that falls apart is stupid money to pay. We used to be happy to part with 20 quid for one. it didnt matter as it was all part of the fun that went with shopping in turkey , the bartering and the small amount of hassle.but the fun doesnt seem to be there any more so whats the point of spending stupid money on something we can buy at home cheaper if we really wanted it
which is a shame .but having said that it is still a beautiful country with on the whole wonderful people and I still enjoy it .I agree with what was said earlier about them thinking we are all wealthy .if only
:Im still a big Turkey fan though
lyn
off when we don't buy. With our salaries being 4 times higher. making the c*** bag 200 quid in real terms.
