Please dont laugh!
When we were in Olu Deniz the week before last we kept being given the lovely bread with our lunches and dinners which was delicious.
After a few days our stomaches were very very puffy. it was not due to beer as we didnt drink that much (and for a few nights I avoided alcohol) and we did not have a bug.
We thought it maybe due to a type of yeast they use to make it rise so much?
One night we were walking out of the restaurant we were in towards the beach and Lykia World had fireworks going off so I tried to run down to see them but due to my tummy being sooooooo puffy I could hardly move. I felt like I weighted about 20tonnes!
I asked our Thomson Rep and she could not keep a straight face and said it was a very unusual question and it maybe the bread!!
Whenever we were given the bread in the last week of our hols we used to say "Damn puffy bread!" to each other and still scoff it as it was soooo tasty!
Had anybody else had a similar experience or think that it maybe possible?
Know what you mean we were in Olu Deniz last week and the bread they bought out was huge, but just had to eat it Perhaps it is because it is hot and bloats you up
Oh fab! you know what I mean!
I love the puffy bread but by the time you have scoffed it you don't want what you have ordered
the reason i ask is because the chilli one gives me a really bad tummy if i eat too much of it.
Loulou
I didnt have the chilli dip thingy and was still like a wheeble! (wheebles wobble but they dont fall down!)
Yummy!

I got sick of eating that bread because it just fills you up too much before your meal comes, it is nice though but you get a bit sick of it also after a week or so!
It is delicious but knowing how I am if I eat poppadums before an indian meal and how they fill me up, I would only allow myself a couple of bites of it.
The puffy bread is lovely....
