Hi Fiona and Gemma
After 7 opened on 15th Oct - was there for the opening nite meself. And I am going to Posh - sister concern, for opening breakfast tomorrow! Have got to get up early for that!
Cheers
oh dear - we only passed it during the day and it was not open- our hotel manager told us it wasn't going to open till November( and his restaurant wasn't open at night at the time )
When you got down the steps turn right going towards Candolim, you will see a couple of fishing boats called the Jesus Brothers I think, anyway keep going look out for two RED flags, as I said it lays back from the other shack's.
I am sure if you ask he will do a HAGGIS for our Scotish friends.
Enjoy
We are going back to Goa (Marinha Dourada) next Friday, and the last couple of times we have gone, we have always liked to try the restaurants recommended on this forum (and have not been disappointed).
Haven't noticed it this time, so wondered if everyone would post their top 5 or 10 restaurants, so that we can again try some new ones.
Essex Gal - haggis in Goa, sounds good. We will be there next week, and will try to find this shack!! Our friends from Buckie are already there, and would be amazed at this, and we can maybe even drag along our friends from Yorkshire!!
Ram from Cactus Shepherds Pie has opened a new place on Candolim Beach Road. It's called Carvery, haven't tried it yet but I imagine it'll be a success. He's opened up with his girlfriend Linda....I think she's the carvery expert!!
GFF xx
Haven't been yet Sam so not 100% sure. I've been told that it's upstairs and is a new build. I think it's at the top end of the St (if you come from the main Rd). Somewhere close to Micos???

Hi, the Carvery is oppoite Green Jacket, above the shops opposite, they offer a deal of 2 courses for 350rps on a Tuesday, Thursdayand Saturday, didn't try it so can't comment.
Jayne
Rams Carvery is opposite the green jacket, after a few teething problems it is going well, they still do a varied menu of Goan food as well, and it is a nice setting. Jayne you must have missed a course it is a set 3 course meal, but a nice atmosphere to eat or just to sit and have a few cocktails,
Read a write up on Xavier retaurant & went to eat there only to find out later it was the wrong one we ate at the one in Baga/Calungutte but the review was of the one in Anjuna...
Must recommend In & Out, it's on the Rd to the beach down the side of Cassa Seashells nr Casablanca.
The food was excellent & very good prices, the steaks were as good as Foxey's. Try it out, I'm sure you won't be dissapointed, also must agree Himalaya very good food & prices.
