Thanks Misterc great report. Was looking at doing Kerala on next trip.
Have been to Goa 4 times but Colva area, Dona Paula/Panjim so looking at exploring the North this time.
Roll on the 21st Jan!!!
I have looked at wikimapia dot org and it has some places of interest, restaurants, hotels marked all around Goa. Anyone else used this?
Cheers all....
Would recommend time and time again Radha Shack (down the side of the Health Centre in Candolim). All the guys are great and our family have been eating there for over 10 years! Loads of choice on the menu - Goan, Indian, Seafood, Pizza, soups, sarnies, non spicy or hot if you like it! You name it pretty much anything you can think of - and they will do food for you that isn't on there too. Great BBQ nights too - I've never seen prawns that big before!!
the night we went we were up and down that road 2 or 3 times looking it ...I knew where it was well was suposed to be but just could not find it ....so we asked someone and they said it was right where we had been looking ... when we found it there was a POWER CUT ....thats why I could not see it all that side of the street was in darkness .... colleen
Where's Roma? I love pizza so any recommendations would be greatly appreciated
Can you tell me where Souymens kitchen is please? Would like to try it out in February.
Anyone been to POSH yet??? or is it still not open??

thanks
Bushbaby they are not connected in any way,Floyd,s Hut opposite the Magnum
Roma is just off Holiday street which is just off the Candolim to Calanguite road. It is advertised everywhere. The advertisements include a map of where it is.
Thanks Damo. I'll have to put this one on my list. Has anyone tried La Fenice or Bistro this season? Tracy
TracyM, Tried the Bistro for the first time in December, ate there twice. Couldn't fault the meals. Would definately go back.
I remember somebody saying that Over The Flame had moved, does anybody know where to.
Donna
Its easy to see from the main road, so I am sure you will find it ok.
Went to Inferno last January , it was ok but definitely wouldn;t put it in top restaurants, didn't go in November so that says it all !
You(OAP), me and quiet a few others have found that INFERNO was'nt up to scratch this time round, must say i was'nt impressed at all.
It was ok, and very reasonably priced, but thats all, I wont be returning there in March.
Posh is open for breakfast and lunch at Nerul. I went there for brunch. Donna - I enjoyed Over the flames too. Its moved to its new location, more or less opposite After 7, outside a the Pedro Martina Resort and next to a small Tibetan market. You cant miss it - its on the main road.
Over the flames is now situated on the main Calangute to Candolim Rd. It's just opposite the little track that leads to After 7
