Mark - Use an override number (Telediscount etc.) and then their international number (direct to Ireland). Should be a bit cheaper (cost 1-2 p per minute).
Good luck.

The 'sayno' site came up with the Ireland number of +353 12497791 when you put in the 0871 code.
That's right Glynis. So just put the override number first and then you have the cheap call. Have used it myself a couple of times.
This will be the very last time for me that I'll be using this outfit for my travel arrangements. I appreciate it is my fault for loosing the booking confirmation but any Company that has a non existant customer services department doesn't deserve my custom.

you dont say why you need the booking reference now, unless its for API, but from experience ryanair send you an e-mail a few days before you travel anyway with all the details on it.
I finally managed to get hold of them by phone and obtain the booking reference number. I had to call their credit card department for somebody being able to help me.
My whole experience of them is that the flights have been on time, the planes have been tidy and the crews have been pleasant.
In December I did Liverpool/Palma and also East Mids/Girona, just recently did Liverpool/Palma again and all these flights are costing me little more than £20 pp per round trip.
I hope you have good flights.

I've flown with them on numerous occasions too and never experienced any problems with the flights themselves. It's a real shame that their customer services experience doesn't match that.
With Ryanair, providing all things go "right" then they are fine. They offer a very cheap A to B service with no-frills or extras. As soon as something small goes wrong you are in the lap of the Gods as their customer service is non-existant. Problem with your reservation, weather delay, they cancel your flight because they feel like it - then you are on your own, perhaps stranded overseas and often left wondering whether that cheap flight is worth the hassle. There is little or no after ticket purchase customer service. But like all things in life, what you pay is what you get.
That is the place they save the money and pass it on to the public in cheapish fares.
You pay your money and take your choice.
You pay your money and take your choice.
And sometimes we pays our money because we don't have a choice, as Ryanair are the only airline which flies where we want to go from a convenient airport. I've used them from Stansted to Toulon and Esbjerg and will be using them to Billund in a couple of weeks. Apart from a 3 hour delay at Toulon once I've had no other problems so far so I just keep me fingers crossed. The 10kg hand luggage allowance is fine for a few days.
I know what you are up against as Stansted is my local airport as well and all things being equal I would fly from there everytime. But as I am always paying for four economically Gatwick tens to come up the better deal due to the large flight supplements x 4 at Stansted, so we find ourselves battling our way round the M25 as a start to our holidays, also parking seems to be cheaper at Gatwick, I guess there is more competition.
I am a bit nervous as haven't checked in online with Ryanair before and don't fancy sorting it out while I am away.
Thanks.
You can check in online between 5 days and 4 hours before each flight.
Thanks Pleased that I can do it all before I go!
think there booking on line is down, every time i put in a date it doesnt show any flights ,or is it just me
I have booked a flight, but have recently come down with an infection in my calf that limits my mobility and my doc thought I should ask for - pay for!! - wheelchair assistance at Stansted.
Will they amend my current ticket, or will I have to start all over again (and pay more of course)? How much is a wheelchair at Stansted, inbound and outbound?
Thanks for any advice!
Hi, have dug this one up. 0871 246 0000 hope it works for you. Tonyt
http://www.saynoto0870.com but can't get the site to open and keep getting Page Cannot Be Displayed.
I've tried the Ireland phone book online and it came up with (01) 8121212 which is their corporate Head Office so I'm not sure that's the number you need. I'm guessing you will need the code for Eire in front of that.
** Edit - Got SayNo open and it gives the number as +353 12497791 so I take +353 to be the code for Eire.
There isn't normally a charge for wheelchair assistance although I do remember a few years ago reading that Ryanair were charging and it was being fought as it was considered a tax on the disabled. Have you checked their website to see what it says?
** Edit - HERE is the information on their website regarding special assistance. You need to choose one of the categories and call the number above.
