in my experience of this hotel, anything goes, you don't need to dress up, so just take a couple of pairs of shorts and t shirts or dresses, get some travel wash, wash them in the sink or the bath, and hang them out to dry, which they will in no time.
Go relax have fun and chill and enjoy.
One thing the outside entertainment complex is huge, keep an eye on the litle ones.
You can see how big the complex is, in the photo gallery under skanes

Thanks for your response. Hopefully despite being a bit nervous at reading the comments made on this website, everything will go fine and we will enjoy it. At least it is getting away from the rain in the UK for a couple of weeks!!
you will have a fab time, you can read my review, under the name Lisa. and there are loads of piccies under skanes in the photo gallery.

I will be at Sahara Beach with my daughter, hubby not keen on holidays abroad so whats it like for women alone please
I've been going there twice a year for the past five years and always travel alone without any problems. Obviously take the normal precautions as you would anywhere regarding keeping you money safe but there is not much crime, taxis are cheap, there are no lager louts and the natives are friendly. I'm sure you will have a lovely time.

We came back last Sunday and we had 2 teenage girls with us and there was no problem at all whatsoever. Very friendly people.

Hi Amanda,
Myself and my partner spent 2 lovely weeks at the sahara beach hotel in june/july this year! The hotel brilliant may have to get up about 7am to get decent sunbeds and parasols but other than that all very good. You may have problems if you are a fussy eater as the food is not to everyones taste. I had a lot of problems with illness but my girlfriend was o.k. and be prepared as there are lots of different nationalites that go there. Any specific questions ask away and will answer them as much as I can. Lastly no rats seen lots of ladies always cleaning.

What is Tunisia like weather wise this time of year..? What kind of entertainment do they have for adults..? Do they do the usual table tennis tournaments + archery etc..??
Looking for a lively hotel with lots of entertainment and good choice of food. Any other hotel suggestions..?
Thanks people

Daniella, we've just returned from the Houda in Skanes and had a great time. There is plenty to do there, and they do archery, darts etc. Also on the beach there is paragliding, jet skiing and banana boats etc, all at very good prices.
We picked up some people from the Sahara Beach when we were going on a trip, and must say it looked very nice, and I wouldn't mind trying it myself
