hope you have a lovely holiday......we've been there twice now and really enjoyed it!
check out the crepes by the pool......delicious mmmmmmmmmm
Thank you, are they still doing crepes I thought some of the reports have said they've stopped doing them, maybe it depends on the time of year.
no they don't do the crepes anymore, must admit I was looking forward in trying those, mind you the desserts are fab.
will we be ok to where vest tops at night or will we need to take jackets?
Mind I always wear something "warmer" for the plane (I find planes to be sooooooooo cold ) so I always have a jumper with me just in case
3 days and counting. I know that the area is quite isolated but are there any convenience type of shop fairly close?
Enoy the market in the hotel on friday, haggle haggle haggle and have fun.
Right thankyou!! I'm counting down till we go!! 3 days!! what company are you goin with? We are going with airtours
We're going with First Choice, everyone packed now only me to go but I always leave it until last minute so will pack Sunday morning. Have to work tommorrow but come 2o/c will be in serious holiday mode. Is it ture there is nowhere to hang your clothes in the bedroom? Going to get taxi to hotel rather than wait for coach so can hit the bars early. Can anyone recommend which one to go to first .
we are all packed!! i can't wait!
Have a fab time, soooo jelous of you all going.
all packed and on our way, will take some photos and post a review when we get back. We've just decided corfu next year and portugal at easter
When i was there, there was a shop in the hotel selling crisps and choccies and that!
yes that's still there, along with the other shops, that you have to pass everytime you go to the dinning room, but they soon get to know you, we always say no thank you and they don't pester you.
I remember i well, and recall them geting to know us which does stop the hassle after a few days!
has anyone been in november ? and if they have could you tell me anything about the weather and entertainments etc. at that time of the year
Yes we went there in November last year (our third visit to the hotel). The hotel was a lot quieter han our previous two visits which were at the height of the season.
Entertainment was still active during the day, although about half the outside bars were shut down, all the usual trips and tours were going on, the evenings though were very quiet which suited us as we went there to get away from it all, you were able to enjoy relaxed drinks in the bars. The entertainment team were still active with shows in the nightclub etc.
The weather was much better than here in the UK but changeable, most mornings we took a walk down the beach in shorts and teeshirt, only in the evenings did we need to think about anything warmer to wear, if I was to compare it to anything it is very much like the summer we are having at the moment.
All in all we had a splendid time at what has become one of our favourite destinations and hotel.
