We are going to Sanguli beginning of October with Keycamp, we are driving down as we are going to the Rugby World Cup in France.
Just wondering how disabled friendly the site and area are.
Reply
Its a very disable friendly place as its all on the flat and wherever there are steps in sanguli theres also a ramp. The only thing is the amphi theatre is all steps so if your legs are disabled you would find this very hard but then again you can sit at the top and still get full view of the show.
Salou itself is also all on the flat so hope this helps.

Hi, This will be our third trip to sanguli, and we have had a fab time. Me hubby and two kids (7&9). we managed to find plenty to do. The site is brilliant, 3 pools, each with seperate kids pol, one has a bar you can swim to. The on site resturant is ok, pila good. (no good at spelling). Freds bar just over the railway line is brilliant for a good english brekkie for about €6. In the evening we go to the queens which is excellent value for money, feeds us lot for about €35/40, that icludes the beer. Barcelona is about 90 mins away by train and fares really good, about €10 per adult. The campsite also has kids club, (not sure if you have kids), the beach is just over theroad, but you have to cross a level crossing, the locals just stroll across when the barriers are done, so keep watching. There is a cheap supermarket in salou, which is 5 min bus journey and costs a couple of euros. What else can i tell you. if you reply i can try and give you more info.. happy holidays

Hi. We're heading to Sanguli in September with our 2yr old son and my father and mother in law. Just wondering how safe the pool area is for toddlers and what the beach is like and also are there any wheelchair friendly taxis at Reus airport to take us to Sanguli camp as my father in law has reduced mobility and requires the use of a wheelchair If anyone has any up to date info to give us it would be appreciated. 3 weeks to go. Can't wait.

Thanks........

Hi Audbod.

Yes we are flying on the 15th of Sept. We're gonna go to Dublin the night before as we're staying in a hotel near the airport. Heard a lot of interesting things about the camp. We've booked a bungalow. Bring it on........

Just back yesterday afternoon from the Sanguli resort. We spent a week there and it was simply the best accomodation I have ever stayed in. I would give it 10 out of 10 for everything. The place is simply spotless and the facilities are 1st class. I will be happy to provide anyone with information about it. We stayed in the new bungalows which were superbly laid out. Anyone that says anything wrong about the place are telling lies.

hi. we stayed at sanguli in september 2007 ....first of all i never heard of it closing down ..i was told by siesta reps that they are downscaling the amount of mobile homes that they have therewhich is a good thing in my opinion as the siesta homes are too close together....we found the resort a bit quieter in sept compared to june..but everything was open ...he entertainment onsite was limited when we were there on average every 2nd to 3rd night they had something on in the evenings.

me and my family have stayed at sanguli for the last 7 years, sanguli is not closing down but the owner of sanuli is revamping the site with there own new lodges, siesta will be limited with there mobiles homes so you have to get in and book quick like first of may each year. if you go direct to sanguli website it show you the new lodges which are to be built this coming year but are for smaller familys 4s and 2s last year when i was there they was all brand new lodges at the far back of the campsite and are very nice and lay out good you can book direct with them cost virtual the same if not slightly cheaper. we have been june and august sept and oct time but prefer august around 20th onwards its still hot, port ventura is still open late, but once it gets into sept the park closes at 7 mid week, they do 7 for 3 day passes, there,s plenty to do shows are a must and the thrill rides for older children and adults, then at the end of the day at mid night a firework display with water features this is excellent with water models for each area of the theme park, furious baco the newest ride all of mine have been on this ride, to have it put onto a disc was 16 euro,s so it can get quite expensive if you have a big family. then there,s the waterpark next door great for all ages of the family about 20 euro,s each. if any one has any questions regarding resort happy to help :) places to eat and so on
