I've booked direct twice and yes you do get sheets and pillowcases from Sanguli. This time they were booked out so we stayed with siesta in a mobile and it was great also. We've booked again with Sanguli for next year.
Anyone i've recomended the place to have returned again.I can't say enough about the place.
As for flies around the swimming pool, i didn't see anymore than normal.
We rented a car last year but this time we used the buses and they are very regular and about 1.20 euro into Salou and 1.50 into Cambrills.
Anything ye want to know ask away.
Can anyone tell us the best things to do at the site and around so late in the season and whats the weather like at that time of year.
hi have tried the link put up and it does not run --any ideas why-- ken
We are going to Sanguli late Setember, never been there but will arrive about 10am. Whats the best and cheapest way of transfering from Reus airport to Sanguli.
Your best option will be the local bus service. It costs around 9.50Euro each. It is a regular service. Your other options would be a taxi which would cost around 27-30 Euro. Suppose it depends on how many are in your party. Hope this helps and enjoy your stay..........cheery
Thanks for that ,sounds like the best option will be the bus. We usually have a car abroard but want to do without one this time, want to just have fun and relax.
Try
Has anyone gone on the Plana bus from Reus airport to Sanguli campsite at Salou, if so do you know the number of the bus and how often it runs.
we have just returned from a weeks stay at sanguli, could not fault it at all,the staff were all lovely and really helpful, the site was really clean and in a great position.we stayed in a bali bungalow and it was great
Someone asked about supermarket. The one the locals use , comparable to tescos, and can get anything from is in old town ,and called Maccadonna (sorry cant remember how to spell). From Sanguli entrance turn left towards the old town, its about 15mins walk at most. Supermarket is not far from railway station, to the left .
Hi.. by the way is any one flying out or are you all coaching it.
hi we flew with easyjet to barcelona as it and then hired a car which we found really useful as we like exploring all the different aites, although i must say we had mega problems with easy jet when flying out and coming home was not much better
Hi..I coached it with siesta coaches 9 yrs were brilliant...this time got to fly due to a baby in our party..doing my head in already before I even get on plane(not afraid of flying)..flying ryainair to reus
Thanks for the feedback, we are booked to go in June. Delighted to hear there is a Meraconada nearby. We always stock up there when in Spain. We are flying into Barcelona and hoping to get the train to Salou.
I am travelling with wife and three year old little girl from Newcastle to Reus in three weeks time to meet up with her sister who has booked an 8 birth caravan for her and her son. However, because we decided to go on holiday well after her sister had already booked we could not get the travel agent to allow us to stay in the 8 birth caravan that she had already booked. So we booked the same flight ourselves online and will meet her at the site but cant seems to find any info on how to get from Reus to Sanguli in Salou and how far or how much it will cost by bus or taxi. We are looking to arrive there at around 5 oclock in the afternoon..
Please could anyone advise
Thanks in advance!!!
Neil King and family
You'll have no problem getting from reus to sanguli. There are taxis outside the airport for 25euro and there is also a public bus that costs about 5 euro each ( i think ) It's only about 15 mins drive so don't worry you'll be in sanguli in no time and you'll have a fab time cos it's a great place.
looking for a bit of information from anyone who has stayed at this campsite , im going in september with siesta holidays, first of all does anyone know what part of the camp siesta has their lodges and secondly my flight doesnt land till 9.30 pm so by time i get to camp its gonna be nearer 11 maybe does anyone know if there will be any shops open in camp or nearby, to get some provisions i.e milk, water. thanks.
They are situated accross from where the cinema is ,about 5 mins walk to the pool.
As for getting supplies late at night you will find it hard as last year we were late and couldn't find any shop open.Best advice is to bring a carton of milk with you until next morning when you can stock up at the shop.We did find you could buy water outside Sanguli accross the road theres a pizza place and they sold water in there. They are open till about 12 i think.
thanks tina, weve booked the executive 8 type lodge so hoping its worth the money ,is there a lot of flies around camp as ive seen it reported on another forum.
