I agree with Green Eyed Lady.
Enjoyed the film but just finished the book and felt that this was much better.
I think the reason is that it would have been more difficult to do a couple of the storylines in the book into film without offending more than it has already done in India. Hence they watered the film down a bit.

Does anyone think there is any truth in what they were doing in the Bottled Water scene.
