We went in the August time, and the waves just gently lapped against the sea shore, heaven .
Roo
thanks Roo! me personally cant stand fish, have a phobia of them, but hubby n kids love going in and having a good look around, i'll make sure im not around when the kids take them some bread, or i'll be screaming like a baby!!
We went quad biking when we were last there, ohhhhhhh boy what an experience, my son loved it, me on the other hand, couldn't wait to get off, but in itself the quads are an experience, I would go on them again, if my son would let me get on his quad, and him do the driving, even though I drive, driving a quad was nothing like driving a car, or maybe I am just a strange gal, lol.
Were abouts are you staying in Tunisia ?
Roo
hi Roo, staying at the thalassa sousse hotel, went to sharm el shiekh last year and hubby n son did quad biking then, that doesnt appeal to me, when im on holiday i just like to lounge around the pool or beach all day, only moving for a cool down dip, food or G & T. cant remember if i asked, does the sea gently shelve in on sousse, in sharm it was very shallow for ages with loads a brightly coloured fish swimming right by the shore. dont suppose you stayed at thalassa or know what it might be like? heard loads a different reviews of the place, good and bad
The sea at Sousse, gently shelved down, and did get quite deep, the further you go out, but you do get warning, it wasn't just a sudden drop, the fish we seen were just the one colour, I don't recall seeing all different colours.
A must to go on, is the noddy train and a tuk tuk, me and son never laughed so much in our lives, and it still gives me a chuckle thinking about going on them lol.
We are going back to Tunisia in 3weeks, but staying in Hammemmet this time, mixed reviews on the hotel, but then we all like different things, and would be a very boring world if we all liked and disliked the same things I hope you and family enjoy Tunisa as much as we did
Roo
