Spectrum Bar, Pernera

Someone has told me that the Spectrum Bar is no more... it has been knocked down... could anyone confirm this for me? Very sad... spent many a time in there when we went to Cyprus.. Angelo was always lovely...

... I was also told that the lovely Piggy had died..

.... that was one of the main reasons why we used to visit the Spectrum Bar aswell, to see her... maybe thats why the Spectrum Bar is now closed... maybe Angelo wanted to Move on after Piggy died..

..... any info regarding this topic would be appreciated. Thank you in advance. Louise

Its true that it has had some major work done on it, not sure how far back it was taken as I don't live there ! However I was there in April (10th to 15th) 2009 and this is how it looked !

Angelo and George were still in the Spectrum last October, Piggy did pass away however, they have a new Piggy now.

I'm hoping they are all still there when we return this October.

spectrum pub pernera

can anyone tell me if the spectrum pub is still open in pernera and if angelo is still there i am going over in september for 2 weeks.cheers tam. :cheers

it was still open when we were there in May/June! Dont think it will close down as it still looked busy plenty of people enjoy drinking there and the bar opposite (Del boys I think) had closed down and been taken over by a chinese restaurant.
