If you party is fine with walking it's not a problem. Although you may be a bit sweaty arriving back at the hotel. Going down is no problem.
If you like everything close by or if any of your party is not okay with walking or you have young children or pushchairs probably not.
If we'd had a long day out or were a bit tired we'd eat in the St. Nicks resturant and must have done it 4 or 5 times this year.
If anyone was thinking of booking St. Nicks for next year and are leaving for Hisaronu this year, I would suggest walking up to the hotel in the evening and having a meal at the resturant.

Book It
You will love it
and so will your daughters. We have been to St Nicks with our two teenage daughters for the last couple of years and its the best place ever. Staff so friendly, make you feel welcome and nothing too much trouble for them. Hotel is situated up the hill from the marcan, and has fantastic views down to Olu deniz - its just magical waking up and seeing that view. We ate lots of times at the hotel restaurant because the food was excellent, but its not too far to walk into Hisaronu each evening either.
I wouldnt have any hesitation in recommending this hotel to anyone, its the place for a truly fantastic holiday - enjoy

I stayed at the St Nicks last year for 2 weeks. Its was ok but we had to be moved a few times because we had a lot of ants in our room they were in our sugar, and because it is on high ground with a lot of trees about the mossies were in full force.
Also dont forget the hill!!!!

Was looking to book these apartments for a week, have found availabilty but want to show them to my husband and son. Have searched everywhere, but cannot find the photos of the waterslides anywhere. Does anyone have any links to these pics at all - thanks!
I was there last year and the smaller slide is the white one with the different colours like red blue green, and the main one is just a shoot you sit in, nothing special - and also the slides were not open enough when we were there because someone had to watch them and the kids were getting disppointed.
I will check tonight and let your know tomorrow
many thanks for your help.
you get ants on the beach these are sugar ants and taste quite nice with a biscuit lol sorry could not resit the pun it does get a pane but it is tropical
thanks maverick for your advice, what sort of biscuits do you recommend with the ants lol
Can anyone tell me if there is much in the way of a childrens play area here, also is there much room by the pool, or is it a tight squeeze with all the sunbeds! Lastly, thinking of going late august, do you have to do the early sun bed reserving or is there plenty to go round! Many thanks!
Oh forgot to ask - are the slides switched on very often?

Brin, I was there last year, 1st the slides were hardly on when we were there for 2 weeks because none of the staff wanted to sit and watch them so there were a lot of unhappy kids and adults.
meaning me I loves slides. Yes there was a problem with beds it started about 6.00am but you get that everywhere. There are 2 pools 1 main pool and 2nd one for the slides the play area is down the stairs to the 2nd pool where you will find a couple of pool tables. Hope this helps
oh
this has put me off a little bit! Did you rate the place at all for families?
