just thought i would let you all know that my hubby took me out for a meal last night as we were both working on valentines day. my mam and dad looked after Caleb for us. we shared garlic bread with tomatos and potato skin starters then both had steak with chips and pepper sauce and then i had a slice of chocolate fudge cake!!!! i had a vodka and diet coke then a half a diet coke. i have no choice but to go sin free til thursday weigh in day now. but on a high note it was blooming lovely!!!
lindsay.
Hbrac, you guessed correct, birthday today Just eaten an indian takeaway now feeling quite ill after that. (stomach is not used to all that food). Will have to be xtra good this week although I have a big chocolate cake to take into work tommorow and may just have to have a piece
Hey, don't worry Lordy ... i'm just back from the local indian, totally stuffed my face!!
I do not want to undo the good I have done so far.
The trouble with healthy eating plans is that life gets in the way and you cannot help slipping from time to time, but it is getting back on track that is the really difficult thing. Anyone else get like this?
me me me!!!! Thats the trouble i used to have sydney but this time around i have managed to stay on track all the way so far but we shall see on the 25th as its hubbies birthday (or should i say after the 25th) I used to only put the wrong milk in my tea in morning and think well i have blown it now and eat what i wanted all day which would turn into a week stupid i know but honestly that was my attitude. I have managed to stay on plan 100% since i started in jan but as i say its when i go out that is my danger point cos if i manage to miss the chippy on the way home i just want to go back the pub the next day and then its like there is a invisible hand dragging me into the chippy on the way home either way i cant be trusted to go on a night out cos it always snowballs into weeks. Gonna try my best though cos i really want this weight gone for my hols.
I find a big bowl of homemade vegetable or lentil soup is filling and you can always dip in for more if you get the munchies before your next meal.
.
Some very interesting reading in the last few post and things that I can relate to.
Our consulatant says it is never 1 meal that upsets the plan it is when you get home or the next day and you carry on eating......
Guess what I weighed myself today and I am the same as this time last week so doesn't look like I will get my 1 stone award tomorrow night, cross everthing that you can for me please.
Have just made a Thai squash soup for lunch at work tomorrow.
Had a different breakfast this morning 1 x weetabix softened with a little milk from allowance, topped with defrosted berries and fromage frais - it was lovely. I normally use quite a bit of milk on weetabix as I like them soft but wanted to use my other A for a cheese allowance as I was making, Pasta, Bean and Veg bake.
Will post tomorrow night/Wednesday morning to let you know how I got on.
Irene
Good Luck Irene, fingers and toes crossed for you.... Denny
I always have a nice big bowl of soup at lunch time ... a nice tub of Carrot and Coriander can only have 130 cals but is really filling, and a few slices of Nimble bread doesn't hurt at only 48 cals a slice
Fingers, toes, legs and arms when i have finished typing Irene
Oooo I think there must have been a whole piece of chilli in the mint and chilli couscous seasoning at lunch time and my stomach is rebelling. My mouth was on fire at the time and it has moved down. Where's the Zantac
Just read your post and got everything crossed for you Irene!!
Well I finally lost the 2lb I put on the other week. So I am very
I want to lose another 11lb before my holiday in 11 weeks time, which would be a lb a week and very doable in normal circumstances but my body just seems to want to hold on to its fat. I have stuck to SW diet religiously and doing daily excercise and weight just doesnt seem to want to shift . I am not giving up though and just going keep plodding along.
Good luck to all you other losers this week. Keep up the good work
Lynn
Well I don't know whether I would have got my stone award (according to my scales I did) as I was feeling dreadful yesterday 'fuzzy headache' and totally off colour so I texted our consultant to say I wouldn't be going and after you all 'crossed' everything for me.
Well done Lyn - keep up the good work.
Speak soon.
Irene
Sorry to hear you were unwell Irene. hope you feel better now.
Well for all my good intentions I went to Pilates class and nobody turned up !! Well the instructor did, but to tell me that eveybody had told her they couldn't make it today. So I went to do a bit of retail therapy instead !! Weigh in for me tomorrow but the scales are sticking around last week's weight. Ho hum
lynn m why dont you try eating more foods that are speed and super speed as this generally works for me when i start getting stuck and it does work!!!! i just have to remember to do it more often instead of eating sweets!!!! hope this helps lindsay.
Hope you are feeling better today Irene? I will keep my fingers and toes crossed til next week for you. LOL
Well done Lynn.... I lost 2.5lbs this week AT LAST!!! I didn't do anything different from last week when I put on .5lbs, so don't know whats going on..... Got my 1.5 stone award so was pleased about that.
Good advice about the speed and super speed foods, will re -read my book and try that for a week and see what happens...
Good luck everyone, keep going....
Denny
Speed foods and scanbran is what I'm having this week. I will lose weight (and probably my friends) .
Denny - I know how you feel just hopefully next week you will lose that and more again.
I think it a good idea to always go back and read the book as our consultant says "its only a magic book if you dont leave it behind the sofa"
Thanks for all your kind thoughts.
Feeling better - must be because I have just made and eaten spaghetti bolognese.
Hopefully on for a good week.
Irene
