GG Wow you must be feeling great -well done. :tup
Lindsay - We stayed in Tsilivi in 2004 for the past 3 years we have stayed in Amoudi - very quiet and not far from Alykes/Alykanas - love the Greek way of life.
Well I tried on my new clothes only keeping the Jeans and T Shirt the others still a tadge too tight. :(
Off to make a lovely breakfast - Eggy bread, mushrooms, beans and toms for lunch I am making a WW vege soup and tonight I am having Quorn fillets in a yoghurt, tandoori and garlic sauce, you can tell I am off work can't you?

Hi all.
I bumped into my SW consultant today whilst walking my daughter to nursery. We had a little chat and she has convinced me to go back to class on Tuesday. Ive told her no promises and I will do my best to be more positive. I think I have managed to convince my mum to tag along with me as well (she started SW with me last year and gave up after she had been on holiday in the June) but she says that she really needs to get back on the diet so having her there might just be the kick up the whotsit that I need ;)

Watch this space. Im coming back - again! Been trawling the internet for holiday bargains and its looking positive for a fortnight away in June. The bikini beckons :cheers

Take care all and have a lovely weekend.

Sarah :)

Nearly forgot to say before - my friend who didnt want to go back this week cos she had convinced herself she had put on over 5lbs.......i persuaded her to go and she had stayed the same - so i think she is well chuffed!!!!

Good luck Sarah - remember you can always re-join and just take your time. Wish i could fit into a bikini - think i'd clear the beach in a second!! x

GG well done on your 2lb loss :tup and tell your friend :clap well done for going back.

I think the mind is a VERY powerful thing :really I went on a cruise a year back and about half way through the week i constantly moaned to my hubby about how fat i looked and convinced myself i had gained about 10 lb ( I really thought it too) :cry I dragged myself back to class and i had gained 2lb, needless to say he was waiting for me in the car to come back and when i told him 2lb he said "and i had to listen to you moan about your weight and its only 2lb" ( good natured of course :tup ) I was made up with 2lb as on the ship we were AI. Another time i had gone missing from class for 5 weeks and went berserk with food and drink and i was dreading getting back on the scales but i did it. I walked to class feeling soooooooooooo big and guess what i had lost 5lb (got me into the tens) needless to say i walked back home thinking i was a super model and really thin ( had not been in the 10's for a good while) But thats what i mean about the mind being a powerfull thing.

Just put a SW quiche in the oven and i am going to halve it and have chips and beans with it, think i will have the other 1/2 for my tea with more chips and mushy peas, yummy!! I used the cheese and brocolli pasta and added a whole bag of spinach, onion, cottage cheese with chives,garlic,4 eggs and 2oz mature cheddar ( 2 B's) I can smell it as I type.

Well done again
Onwards and downwards ( scales wise)

Hi Kerrie - totally agree about the mind thing!!

Im finding it very hard this week! I cought a bug and was quite ill (Couldnt even keep water down!) for a few days last week, but now that im feeling a tad bit better all i want to eat is chocolate!! Im trying so hard not to give into it!

I always rely on ready meals as i have no idea when it comes to cooking. I know eventually i will have eaten all the weight watchers ready meals until they are coming out my ears and will probably get fed up of eating them! Is anyone elsel like this or do you all cook?

I have another problem with my diet - i dont eat vegetables - never have! My class leader said i should have 4 portions of fruit a day to make up for the lack in veggies. I rarely manage the 4 fruit either though, but i do try!

I love pasta and chicken - any recepies kicking about for a nice pasta and chicken meal that anyone knows of?

GG x

glittergirl, i'm not a big fan of fruit or veg and i manage ok. the easiest thing i do to make sure i have some veg is to make a veg soup and blend it so it normally tastes more flavoured than vegy as i use stock cubes or knorr ready made stock in a bag as this is free on sw. i force myself to eat strawberries by crumbling a meringue nest over them or a very low fat chocolate mousse!!! :D
hope this helps lindsay

Well, i've really slipped up and put a few pounds back on, but i've caught it, and will be back on the wagon from next week, calories counting et al

What's really bugging me is two things i want to do (walk into work a couple of days a week and my five a side) i can't, as my foot is still sore. Hopefully my doctors appointment tomorrow will start me off in rectifying that one

Hi everyone
Hope you are all having a good weekend - mind you with all the rain yesterday I was very lazy and jusy watched TV!!!!! Although today the sun is shining so I am like a woman posessed - washing, ironing and housework. :rofl
Just had a lovely roast dinner so before I sit down and watch the footie (Liverpool v Everton) I thought I will come on here and see what is happening.
Cidermonster what have you done to your foot? A friend from SW class and I have arranged to walk for a minimum of an hour twice a week to start with - starting tomorrow night. Have had a good week on SW as I am off I have made plenty of different recipes. Hoping for a loss this week and then it is onwards and downwards weight wise towards my initial target.
Speak soon.

Well I give up, another month and I have only managed to lose 2lb so I still need 1 stone=14lb to lose in 7 weeks. God I'm gonna have to clamp my mouth shut at this rate.
This weekend hasn't helped though, a christening, mam and dad's golden wedding, drinking four bottles of wine since easter weekend ( got lucky on the fete's tombola stalls), oh and an easter egg. :cry :cry
See you next month.

Firstly well done for your 2lb loss :tup I know only to well how dissapointing it can be when your weight comes off slowly :banghead: but if you really want that 14lb in 7 weeks it is do able. Why dont you just take it week by week and try your best to be 100% :tup Just think what you could lose being good :hyper

Goodluck

Well done to those who have lost. ;)
It is weigh in day for me so I eat lightly until tonight.

Lunch - WW home made vege soup with a little pasta and some scan bran (hopefully they will work................ LOL)
EM - A tin of Asda's Chick pea curry and rice -it is about 7.30 when I get in.
In between, more fruit, activia yoghurt and plenty of water.
I am going to cycle there and back as it is not far will go for a quick ride before class. Walked for 1 hour and 15 mins last night.
Need some ideas - hubby birthday tomorrow and I am going to do a small buffet in the evening apart from SW quiche, salads, baby pots, savoury rice any other suggestions? - I am a vegetarian. Want to stick to the plan. Thanks in advance.
Have a great day everyone and speak later.

morning irene, how about some wedges and dips (fromais frais, garlic and onion or blue dragon sweet chilli sauce is gorgeous, f/f with finely cut cucumber, freshly chopped mint and onion or finely chop a beefsteak tomato, trim, rinse and finely chop small leek and add tomato then stir in 2 tbsp of freshly chopped parsley and 1 tbsp of barbecue seasoning for a tomato bbq relish!!) good luck at class and enjoy your hubby' s birthday. lindsay.
