Hi i want to join in! Im mandy and im off on holiday in about 6 weeks time! I had my 2nd baby 8 and a half months ago and have lost approx 47lb's of weight since i gave birth but im at a standstill and the weight is not moving. I think the longer the diet the harder it becomes right? Anyways i need support! I would like to lose another 7lb's in the next 6 weeks im not on ww or sl or anything i just work out and eat right. Except when im pregnant
So after a blow out at the weekend that lasted 2 days im 2 lb's heavier..... Ill post each week with a weight loss hopefully and any waek momments i haveGood luck to everyone and well done to all those managing to be good, ive enjoyed reading your threads!

The doc told me what was wrong with the foot, that it was nothing major, and just to take Ibuprofen for it. I shook my head thinking he was taking the p*ss, but i've been taking the tablets, and it's working, so back to five a side for me tomorrow

Well done for maintaining Irene.!!
As you know for weeks now I have either maintained or lost or put on 1/2 a lb. BUT this week I've lost 3lbs and got to TARGET!!
They rang the bell for me and I got a huge round of applause, a sash, a certificate and a gold badge.... To say I'm thrilled is an understatement!!!! Plus I don't pay to go to group as long as I stay 3lbs either side of target.... I've promised the friends I've made there that I will still go to group ( I need to or I know I will cheat and put it all back on).
So come on Girls and (Cidermonster) if I can do it, anyone can!!!!

I'm thinking about sending away for the trial patch. The only thing is, you are automatically sent your next months supply unless you cancel within 14 days. I don't like the sound of this as they have all your bank details, what happens if you cancel and they still take the money????How long does your trial sample last. Oh what a dilemma, and does it bliddy well work any way???

Im still trying to feel more positive about my diet and I have had two really good days. I did use all my syns (15) yesterday for my white bread craving but it was worth it. Had a really lovely cheese, ham & salad sandwich and a pack of walkers french fries crisps which was bliss.
Things can only get better.

So far as the pink patch goes - it's something I keep getting offers of in my spam box. Anything they try to push so much I am wary of. Besides, these fad things usually come with small print that they only work in conjunction with a calorie controlled diet.
Yeah sandc i agree with sarah they do sound iffy but the worse thing is that they want your bank details, Something smells fishy to me and its not my salmon quiche. Not only do they probably not work but they might not even show and then your money gone from the bank. I wouldnt take the chance
And as you said they probably will state that you have to have a calorie controlled diet for them to work ( if doing that anyway no one needs things like pink patches.

Thanks guys, you talked me out of them. They have something similar at my local tan in a can salon
and it does state on the bottom of the advertisement for these, works best in conjunction with exercise and a calory controlled diet.

if so do you like salmon?? I just made a recipe that i got in class it was salmon quiche
You just flake the salmon into a oven proof dish, mix together CC and 4 eggs season and then pour over the salmon. Place in oven about gas mark 5 for 20 mins until firm and slighty browned. It was gorge
I ate it cold as i dont like things like that hot.

Not been on site for a few days had 2 visits to the dentist and it appears I have an abcess so am on antibiotics and don't feel much like eating and then I have go to have a tooth out
or root canal and crown work - I hate the dentist such a coward and yet my dentist is lovely.

well i put on 1 and a half lbs keep yoyoing at the moment as work stressing me out but only 2 more weeks to go then i will be free of it!!!
I am stuck now lost a 1lb in the last 3 weeks, lost 17lb overall and now weigh 9st 11lb, although I am quite happy with this weight would like to get a few more off as going to Turkey in 6 weeks and just love the turkish food.

If so, has your consultant mentioned the Fast Forward programme - not spoken about a lot quite a strict programme works on units per day but a couple of people at my class have used it quite sucessfully when close to target or at a plateau. I have a copy you only do it for a week or even a few days helps. Let me know if you are interested.
