Anyone else being a total and utter failure in the diet and exercise stakes at the moment?

Found it really hard to get motivated again when I came back, but am now back to the weight I was before I went on hols - i.e I am standing still, and it seems like I have wasted a month when I could have been doing better. (trying not to beat myself up too much though)
Trying to get started again, and getting back slowly to the gym. I am thinking of getting some sessions with a personal trainer there, but not sure if I would collapse with the effort or feel really good and motivated. Mmmm -will have to give it some more thought.
Going away again 8 weeks on Saturday and I had thought I could have lost another stone by that time, but that looks an impossible dream now

I knew I should of given myself a few days before getting weighed (or even waited till my usual Monday) but no, I had to get weighed. I have put on an incredible 14lbs - A FULL STONE



Back to work Friday then back into diet mode (hopefully).
I'll be looking for my pal back now Kazee please!!!
so forget the diet for a few days... how was the holiday joolz? i hope you had a brill time and it was worth the stone!!!

I don't possess any scales though so I'll just have to report on clothing or something. Ooh, maybe start measuring myself regularly, that and I have a pair of jeans that I want to use for measuring.

I braved it out this week and went to get weighed. I was very surprised to find that i had only gained 2 and a half lb (now i know thats not bad at all for being as naughty as i have) Thats not what is doing my head in,Its the fact i could have lost a ST by now if i had behaved myself

I always do this and it P***es me right off.

Well, i got my little skipping rope thing.. quite a simple gadget really.. you programe your weight in and height etc and then it has an alarm thing into it and it sets a time for you to skip to lose 100 calories ( i think thats 10 minutes to burn 100 calrories) and then it beeps at you when the 10 mins is up. If you don't want to have a set time period and just want to skip until you are kn***red then it will tell you how many calories you have burned in that period.. don't ask me if it works as i haven't actually got around to trying it properly as i can barely figure out how to programme the b***y thing

I have not lost weight but nor have i gained any this week.. but then again this is not a good week for me..and i am mardy with it as well

Next week back on track hopefully cycling and swimming ( yes Rob finally fixed the wheel on my bike!) and i need to give the voddy's a miss as i think that would help..
11 weeks to lose 22lbs...hmmmm

Well I have to say it has taken me 4 weeks, yes 4 weeks to get back in the dieting frame of mind.
Spinning only once a week but at least I have not had any alcohol in the week, can tonight though

Need to be much slimmer for my Caribbean holiday than I was for Beni. I have 5 months to lose alot of pounds. Just need to focus more on gym time. Focused on intake of everything else just the gym, struggling as the house is on the market and needs to be kept clean at a high standard, so constantly mooching around cleaning

Well I am back with a vengance and Joolz mate 'Will power' will assist me 100%

I dont think you will have a problem getting 22lb of in 11 weeks, Its not as if your asking for 3st in 11 weeks(which i seem to think i can do

Kazee its so hard to get back on track after your hols isnt it. Dont do the gym thing myself as i hate exercise and i know i just WONT stick to that (I have enough trouble trying to stick to plan)

I have a holiday to cuba booked for January and I want to wear a bikini. at my heaviest (last year) I weighed 15st and 1lb.

have been following slimming world and no weigh 12st 8lb, dropped 2.5 dress sizes


I have picked up some great tips, I will never again eat carbs after 7pm!!!!
just wanted to post and get some support because you have all done so well, will keep you all posted

Kazee - Like you we are selling our house. My god what a pain in the
a###. If you don't lose any pounds through stress I would be
very surprised. All I seem to do is housework and more bloody
housework

had a bath and say 'I've folded the towels how you like them'
I am driving everyone in my house mad. God forbid they sit
down and mess up my cushions, that's the death penalty.
The best part is when people turn up over an hour late and
you've just sat down to dinner. They think it is their god given
right to come in; WRONG. You will deffo lose weight if not
through stress through the fact that you never get to finish your
bloody dinner.

Val - 22lb in 11 weeks is not impossible. With the swimming and
cycling you will probably lose more. Keep going girl you can
do it
Kerrie- You go girl. If you want to drink and eat the entire pub menu
then go for it. I am the same, one drink turns into two then three
then four and more, then you get the munchies and you eat
anything and everything. So what, it is summer (she says with it
lashing down outside) and we should make the most of it. There
will be plenty of dark, cold winter nights to excercise and diet.
Sagres- DVT (Double vodka & tonic) you sound like my kind of mate

Fatima:lol: -You should market yourself as a diet,you are enough to make
people lose weight with all the laughing you make themdo

not to have an actual target then you won't feel

My downfall is I feel duty bound to have my Saturday night treat which generally includes a couple of drinks and usually continues through Sunday when Ill have a larger lunch and so I am consistently saying "oh well, Ill start again Monday". Trouble is, there are not many Monday's left
