Hello everyone.
Well, after last week's let down and my great plans to be really good, I had an okish week. So I am not to disappointed to say that I stayed the same on the weigh-in this week. My only disappointment is that I will not be packing those brown cropped trousers that I soooo wanted to wear on my hols.
Anyway, am off to sunnier - I will not believe the weather forecasts of rain and thunder - climes on Thursday. Generally, I dont overeat on holiday and having a 2½ year old I do run around a lot but I drink far too much once she has gone to bed So, we shall see what happens when I get back.
Good luck to everyone. Keep positive. I will check in upon my return when it will be back to the post-holiday diet in readiness for sister's wedding in April 07.
Have a great holiday.. i am soooooo jealous as i am stuck here in sunny old nottinghamshire/yorkshire for the next 9 weeks before we go to Gran Can..
alright for some... 39 weeks for us! Have a great time
I've been faffing around halfheartedly doing bits of this and bits of that and well, my cholesterol is up so I have to get it sorted and sorted for good. Low fat is the only way for me to go so forget any other type of fad.
And to be honest, low fat is what has always worked in the past because you automatically stay away from the majority of crap. I've been so obsessed with the evils of sugar that I've gone all skewiff!
well ive gained 6lbs from last 3 week holiday and after 3 weeks still managed to shift only 2lb yoyo each time no chance in getting back to target now ,,leave on thursday night for another 2weeks,good thing about it is theres just me and hubby going so no need to pig out as much as when all the family are with us ,holidays are an inspiration to lose weight so what motavates us after xxx jan
It's difficult to stay motivated after your holiday with regards to weight loss. I'm the worlds worse for putting it all back on. Try to focus on how good you looked/felt when you lost the weight and remember nothing TASTES that good!!
Keep trying hard everyone.
Well done Joolz on your weight loss and to everyone else. No doubt you will be running around after your daughter after her accident. Hope she arrived home ok and will be well soon
Nice to see you all back Thought i was all on my own for a while there
How is everyone getting on Are you all hoping for a loss this week I am!!!! I have been really good again this week but to be honest i felt like i had lost up until sunday and now i feel like i havent Does anyone ever get like that
Dramaqueen yes i have been doing the fast forward. I enjoyed it too but i am on my second week now and finished tomorrow (wed) But i must admit i cant wait to get back on plan I have missed my sinfree joes sausages,Have you tried them they are delish.
srhjnmgn Have a lovely time on your hols and go and strut your stuff. (worry about the dreaded diet when you come home) EAT, DRINK AND BE MERRY
A big hello to Val,Sandi,Ladyjan and last but not least Joolz
Hope everyone is well and i will be back to let you all know how i get on tomorrow.

Hey, hey, hey it's weigh day Lost 0lb. Doubt the guy in the chip shop on Friday night did'nt use vegetable oil 6wks to lose 8lb.
1/2 inch smaller on the waist than last week.
new to this thread. Posted only once before. I'm trying to get motivated to lose the weight I put on during my fortnight's holiday (7 pounds ). If I could just get started.... I always find the first week is the worst as once the weight starts to come off it's motivation in itself.
I'm sure it's going to get harder now that the best part of the summer is over. I never follow any sort of plan as I'm not that good at sticking to a regime. I do manage to lose weight on my own once I get over the initial hurdle of putting my mind to it.
Has anyone got any tips on getting started/motivated? Thanks
Just think how good you felt/looked when you were that bit lighter. Did you just slide into your jeans without having to lay on bed and breathe in?? Don't you want that again?? Of course you do!! Says me who has eaten half a pound of Thornton's toffee and half a dozen biccies today and it's only Monday
I am just static at the minute.. not losing any weight but thankfully not gaining any.. and i am still in the worst shape of my life. Last time i was this shape and weight i was 8 months pregnant and that was over 14 years ago...
phoning up this new gym in town later. ladies only. Good job really. Don't think Rob looks good in a leotard.
good luck everyone.
2 people today asked me if I'd lost weight. One asked recently, the other since I started here (6 months). I only get weighed once every 3 months when I see the nurse and last time she commented that I'd put weight on and that was only just over a fortnight ago.
If you put weight on according to scales but people are telling you that you look like you have lost weight then it is probably due to muscle tone.
Well Done

so.. i obviously was not getting anywhere swimming and cycling on my own.. so onwards, forwards..treadmill, rowing machine and bike here i come..
That's a good idea with the new gym, it might be just what you need. It's all about motivation isn't it?
I don't see why not. You could build muscle tone in your arms at least - your right one when you lift your glass of wine and the left one as you lift the chocholates.
Good on you Val for joining the gym - I am quite tempted to go to my son's gym to let off some steam.
Rgds Jackie
everyone is doing great, well done peeps.
Still struggling to get back on track, but I only have 17 weeks tomorrow to lose the weight and tone up. This will be a real tester this weekend, as we are not going anywhere, looking quite forward to it...chilling, drinking but I will not have a take away I promise.
Had an offer on the house so all systems go (fingers crossed).
Hopefully I can get back on track and become more focused on myself and not everything else that goes with moving house.
Lovely reading the threads peeps, take care all
Kazee xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Hope you have more luck sorting your house than either me or Jackie have had with ours..( different thread elsewhere..)
Doing my first gym session tomorrow with my own personal trainer and i am quite enthhusiastic about it. In the meantime, i am still muching on salad and lean cuisine.. no voddy ( definitely the hardest part ) no junk food like chips or pizza..and finally, things might start to pay off..
Does added stress make you lose weight?
