Was asking my mate what currency to bring to Seychelles as I have read that a lot of places in Seychelles take Euros and American dollars as opposed to their currency(rupees) He reckons I should bring my English money with me and exchange it in the banks in Seychelles as I will get a better exchange rate.

Not to sure though if this is advisable and would have thought if anything taking travellers cheques would be a better option as at least I would be insured if they were stolen etc etc....

Has anybody here done similar?
