I do miss a good cup of tea, first thing I do when I get home is put the kettle on!!

Does anyone else get 'worried' about coming home- i thought I was being irrational really until last year, as I always hate opening all the post incase of nasty surprises. Stupid really since all our bills etc are DD so there really shouldn't be any, as I say until last year when we met the postie on the drive the day we got home who gave my husband a letter telling him he was being made redundant and not to return to work.

Those 2 weeks of R&R blown away in an instant, although I'm sure we coped better for it!!

I miss vegetables. You never, or rarely, get a vegetable when you order a meal in a restaurant in Europe. Its also chips with everything unless you ask for a jacket potato.

So the first thing we do when we get home is a proper meal with plenty of veg.

Other than that, I dont miss a thing :)

Things are : the computer, decent chocolate, Earl Grey tea.

More intangable is : the space you get at home as opposed to in a hotel room or an apartment, by the end of a fortnight I feel we could do with a bit of personal space again, as we are 4 adults really. But we dont want to stay in villas as we like large hotel type facilities.

This isn't a problem on one week holidays or at places like center parcs in the UK though. :think

Oh, poor you, keepupwith... I was made redundant a couple of years ago and took advantage by having a lovely 2 weeks away after I found out! It didn't help get a job but boy! did I enjoy my redundancy cash! ;) We miss the dog and proper brews, even though we take our own tea bags they never seem to taste the same. And also, we have found that a lot of self catering places only have cups so have to go and buy mugs for a good sized cuppa.

A decent cup of tea and skimmed milk and my bed.
Home water( as in out of the taps water :rofl ) How many people have fluffy uncontrollable hair on their holiday. Can't be the shampoo because you take your normal shampoo with you.
BUT I do love Walmart being open 24/7 :tup

I miss shopping and my computer while I'm away...

Although this year, I'm staying in my cousins in Australia to see what it'll be like to live there, so I will still get to do both of those (I'm working so I'll be taking my laptop and I'm shopping for a new computer for my cousin!)

A decent cup of tea and beans on toast!

I don't miss the computer, I spend far too long on it and a break does me good. We do have a bet on how many e mails will be waiting when we get back. The record was nearly 500 after a 4 week break! However 300 of those were spam!

Hubby and I have just returned from a week in Corfu
I missed my 2 sons as they don't come with us now ( mind you the pleasure of seeing them soon wore off when I discovered how much washing they had left for me to do and that neither one had remembered to put the wheelie bin out to be emptied :cry )
By the end of the week I missed my own bed something awfull
We didn't miss the telly but were looking foreward to relaxing when we got back and hubby was wanting to watch some sport .
I don't so much as miss things as enjoy them more after a break
