Hi Darren,
Wonder if you can help.
I am flying out of Manchester to Barbados to pick up cruise ship on Monday 10 January 2011, Thomson Airways 892, returning on Monday 24 january 2011, flight 893.
Have you any details and how do I go about pre booking seats, please?
Cheers
Roy

MAN-BGI-MAN (TOM892/3) are operated by a former First Choice Boeing 767-300/ER (winglets). You'll find further aircraft information on our What Aircraft? guide (link below). You can pre-book seating via your agent, by phoning Thomson Airways or online if you have a Thomson booking reference.

We are flying from gatwick to sanford orlando on the 12 feb 2011 with thomson.
Are you able to tell me plane type and what the seat configuration will be?
Thanks
greg
Please quote flight numbers when requesting aircraft information as there are often multiple flights. This ensures we get the correct information for you. LGW-SFB-LGW (TOM046/7) are operated by a former First Choice Boeing 767-300/ER. You'll find further aircraft information including photos and seat plans on our What Aircraft? guide (link below).

Hi Darren
That's correct as it's a former First Choice 763. All the information you need is on our What Aircraft? guide.

Thanks Darren,
TOM 428 Gatwick-Bodrum on 16th May 2011 and TOM 429 Bodrum-Gatwick on 30th May 2011.
Does Thomsons have a 1 infant per row policy (hubby and I have twins), if they do it's not a problem as we're going with my parents and my sister, brother in law and their 3 children. Easyjet let us sit together on the same row on Belfast-Stansted flight and Stansted-Belfast but on return flight, cabin crew said we couldn't have anyone sitting with us due to oxygen masks.
It's too early to know for sure as I don't have a copy of the summer 2011 aircraft schedule as yet, I only have up to the end of April. It'll either be a Boeing 757-200 or 767-300/ER. I believe there is only 1 extra oxygen mask per row so you may have to sit on two seperate rows.

Flying Thomson Airways long haul to Goa and booked the premier seating. We need the extra baggage, in particular the 7KG hand luggage for instruments of a sensitive nature that my wife and I carry in our hand luggage.
Just received our tickets and it says that baggage allowance is 23KG with no mention of hand luggage allowance.
Now I know that premier allowance is 23KG hold allowance and 7KG hand luggage allowance, or it was when I booked 8 months ago.
Having seen the tickets now and no mention of the hand luggage allowance I checked Thomsons website and was surprised to read
Premier & Premium Upgrade luggage allowance
Each customer is entitled to check-in allowance of 20kg and a maximum 7kg for hand baggage (max. dimensions: 55cm x 40cm x 20cm).
This is only applicable to Premier and Premium upgrade customers.
Click here for more information on Premium seat upgrades
No single item of baggage may exceed 23kg. All other conditions as per the standard luggage allowance above.
Has this allowance now changed??
Trouble is I have nothing to prove that I booked with a combined allowance of 30KGs. I will ring them to check this out. Bit of a bugger if this has changed.
I have never seem cabin baggage mentioned on flight tickets, I am flying next weekend and also have 7kg of carry on. Don't worry, I can't remember ever having hand luggage weighed.
Thomsons haven't weighed my hand luggage but read on another forum that someone had hers weighed the last time she flew ( a couple of months ago).
Cabin baggage will be taken in to account if you're pushing or in excess of hold luggage limits. I've had mine weighed and checked a few times in the past when taking diving equipment with up to the 7kg/23kg limit, plus 5kg divers allowance. It does happen so always best to stick to your luggage limits so you won't be charged for excess baggage. The allowance hasn't change, it's been like that for a couple of years now with Premium and Premier customers having increased baggage allowance. That's why the holiday is slighly more, plus it's associated with the 4/5 star hotels.
Thanks Dazbo, party is hubby and I with our twins, my sister and her hubby with their 3 including 1 infant and my parents. If there's only one extra mask per row, then we'll ask my parents to have 1 of our girls on their lap.
Does this mean that the thomson website is incorrect or will new customer only be given 20KG hold allowance but the usual 7kg hand luggage is still being given.
I mention this as I am sure if this has altered (if the website is correct) it would no doubt affect a few people.
It depends on your booking. The standard allowance is 5/20kg but Premier and Premium customers get extra allowance of 7/23kg. That has been the case for a while as I mentioned previously. As a long haul Premium customer, your entitlemet is 7kg hand luggage plus 23kg checked-in / hold allowance. Baggage allowance is listed on Thomson Airways website.

i was wondering if there was any news on the damaged 767 and when it is due to return to service, we are flying LGW-AZS on the 19th jan(tom 048) in the premium cabin and when we pre booked seats we was given 4a+b. but now that has been changed to 3a+b with no reason. Can anyone tell me what aircraft it will be( ex FCA or TOM) if known and what are the reasons why they could of changed the seats.
The latest update I've heard is it's going to take longer than expected. It was supposed to be repaired for the end of November, but it's going to be December now. There have been no changes to your flight. It's looking like an ex-FCA although the flight on the 17th was an ex-TOM for some reason.

Travelling on TOM2662 MAN-FUE (which I think is a 757-200 from the seat booking seatplan (41 rows of 2 lots of seats in 3's). We are trying to reserve seats just over the wing on the right hand side of the plane and have a choice of rows 15, 16 17 or 18 DEF, does anyone know what will be the best row is to go for so that we are over the wing but still have a good view out of the window?
Thanks
Welcome onboard
Your flights are indeed operated by a Boeing 757-200. Seating is personal preference so it's whatever you prefer really. There are two rows without windows in the 16-18 area, I think it's 15 and 17 from memory. I would try slightly further back or row 13/14 to guarantee a window.
