Thanks Darren.
Is that the 2-3-2 layout? Apart from that is there much difference between the 2 different types?
You'll find aircraft information on our What Aircraft? guide (link below). Both premium cabins are 2-3-2, it's just the number of rows / seats that differ really. There are differences like mood lighting on the ex-FCA, the ex-TOM have 1" more seat pitch in premium, location of tray tables, but they're minor things. Facilities and comfort levels are the same.

We are flying to Bodrum from Manchester on Monday 26/7 at 7am flight number TOM 532. We believe that the seating in 2-4-2, (according to Thomsons seating plan on their pre-book seats section of the website). They are suggesting that we pre-book the seats at a cost of £70+ (there are 6 of us, inc 4 children!) which we don't want to do. They are suggesting suitable seats of 12 CDE and 14 CDE. We would be very amused if these turn out to be our 'actual' seats when we board on Monday, without paying a penny!! We shall wait and see...lol!
Could you tell us what the plane will be and whether there is an IFE? And are there TV's on the back of the seats?
Many thanks
Louise, Steve and 4 very excited children aged 12, 10, 10 and 7
INFO please. Travelling on TOM 112 from Man. to Barbados 6/12/10 and back to Man. from Acapulco on TOM 113 on the 20/12/10. Can you give me any info on aircraft and seat configuration?
Could you please tell me if flight TOM196 Manchester to Mexico 29 September 2010 is a Thompson fly or First Choice Plane. Booked seats 1 C&D in Premium are these good seats.
I will be flying to Cancun on the 20th August from Glasgow airport and was wondering if anyone knew what kind of plane it would be like seating wise.... I am flying in the premier cabin. Anyone know what the benefits are and if they are worth it?
Thanks in advance
Steph
Boeing 767-300 premium seating is 2-3-2, you'll find people on this forum who have had great, good, average and poor experiences on Premium but the majority seem to think its a good deal, try http://www.thomson.co.uk/editorial/press-centre/33-legroom.html to look at the benefits from economy, and of course http://www.holidaytruths.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=38&t=47950 for more info and pictures.
Darren (Dazbo HT Mod) should be along soon, he will give you all the information you need
We'll be on the same plane as you and in the premium cabin too! This is our third year in a row that we have flown Glasgow to Cancun in premium and for us it is worth it. We love having the extra space - enough room to get up without having to ask your neighbour to move. It's nice not to have to pay for drinks. I like the stop/start/pause in flight entertainment (though you can upgrade to that in economy). If check in queues are lengthy it's nice not to have such a long wait. And it's good to get your bags early and be away to your hotel (though I think this may not always happen).
I'm sure others will be able to confirm the seating arrangements better than I, but in the past it's been an ex FCA plane with 2 - 3 - 2 in premium and 9 rows of seats. We've already booked our actual seats - you can do it online or over the phone. It cost no extra.
Are you getting excited? Only 30 days to go - can't wait!
Beth
Im really excited. Where are you staying? I didnt know we could select our seats i just assumed we would be seated together, but we are a group of 4 so will be kinda hard to get together without an aisle, never mind tho, the drinks shall be flowing hehe. Premium is obv worth it for you or else you wouldnt do it again. Is the meal and movies ok? 10 hours is a long time and i have a very inpatient boyfriend lol. I'll be phoning tomorrow to get seats sorted out

Thank you! I just tried to log in there but it says my details could not be found? eeeek! I will def need to phone tomorrow and make sure its ok. God!! The films sound not too bad. They will pass the time im sure. I know this may sound like a silly question but are there any seats that get a good view? Or ones that really dont have a good view at all? Obviously the window seats i mean, im hoping to get one of them if possible.
Anything but Row 9 has a window so you will be fine with 1-8, maybe 2AB and 3AB if you wanted to be behind each other, enjoy.
Games that could be included
Solitaire
Hangman
Battleship
Bejewled
Disney Classic Games
Hold em Poker
Who Wants to be a Millionaire
Golf
Suduko
A selection TV programmes such as Top Gear, Vicar of Dibley, The Simpsons and Hannah Montannah..........they are all updated and changed around when the lists change every two months.
Then of course you have your music channel with endless different types of music to suit all tastes
As BEfreeToday says 1 behind the other maybe a good choice.
Rich
thats a great idea i actually never even thought of sitting behind one another, haha i feel like an idiot.
Also can anyone answer a wee question. Im guessing that you are no longer able to see inside the cockpit due to past events? Id love to see what it looks like from the "drivers seat", but obviously that may not be possible and i can totally see why not. But seen as we would be in premier bit and so close would be worth a visit if it was possible. Anyone know?
Thanks
x
Im really liking the sound of this, im so glad we upgraded now. This will definatly occupy my boyfriend lol. Im impressed!
there is no harm in asking now is there?
i remember as a young lad been in many jumbo cockpits and various others, shame its not allowed no more
premium includes a pre flight drink, all drinks except champers, a choice of meals (usually a choice of 2) ife with pause, rewind etc its well worth it
So is there not a "rule" saying is not allowed or is it mainly at the discression of the pilot? I think it would be amazin to see all the wee buttons and the view would be pretty awesome too i reckon.?
but like i said no harm in asking, you never know.
