Cheers for the reply to garryb earlier, Darren.
We're on the same flight a week later (GLA-SSH-GLA (TOM508/9) are operated by a Boeing 757-200 (winglets). The aircraft should be coming in from Ibiza (TOM1301) arriving at 1250)
Does anyone have any details on the inflight entertainment either direction ?

DaveGillen,
I posted the July / August IFE listing on page 134. I don't have the short haul listing, but they should have two from that list (you should have two movies on each flight).

simonjones377,
The flight prior to TOM196/7 should be TOM462/3 (MAN-Bodrum-MAN). This is a change to the schedule so isn't guaranteed. I'll check properly when I have more time (at work at the moment).

simonjones377,
This'll sound a little complicated, but bare with me!! MAN-Bodrum was initially scheduled to be operated by a Boeing 757-200. However, due to swine flu and increased demand on short haul flights, it has now been changed to a Boeing 767-300/ER. Short haul flights would ordinerally be operate by a short haul aircraft, but for some reason, the last 2 weeks have be covered by a long haul aircraft. The aircraft from that flight has been going on to operate your flight; TOM196/7. Your flight has changed from being operated by a former Thomsonfly aircraft, to a former First Choice (better for you!). That is how it stands at the moment. I would anticipate however that the Bodrum flight will change to a short haul aircraft (former Thomsonfly) once the long haul ones have been converted to short haul, so that could change again. Everything is up in the air at the moment and is changing weekly. You're going back middle of July aren't you? If you remind me a few days before you travel, I'll check on current status for you.

Hi,
I was wondering if someone could help me? I'm trying to track the arrival time of TOM4665 from Paphos leaving later today so I know what time to leave to pick my parents up. Currently it looks like it's at least 2-3 hours behind shedule (the Tomson and Gatwick websites disagree about it's arrival time!).
It appears that the outbound flight (TOM4664) hasn't even taken off yet. Are there any good sites to track the flights or find out what's delaying it?
Thanks,
John

Soulfish,
Welcome onboard
The best place to look is on Thomson's own flight status webpage. That'll give you the most accurate information on when the flight is expected back in Gatwick. The flight is currently showing as expected in at 03:54, just short of 3 hours late. From what I can see, the flight was late inbound and it's a knock-on effect.

The long haul IFE is listed on page 133 but for those of you staying closer to home here goes:-
The crew will either show one or both movies on flights over 2hrs 31m, depending on flight length and audience on the day along with a mix of tv repeats, such as hannah montanna, my family, top gear piers morgan in Dubai.
Outbound-from UK (all flights excluding 737-300, but including the 2 none seatback TV 767's)
17 Again
Monster Vs Aliens
Inbound-to UK (all flights excluding 737-300, but including the 2 none seatback TV 767's)
New in Town
Race to Witch Mountain
The long haul aircraft that have had the extra seats refitted to operate shorthaul are now on a broadcast system only, and show the three movies listed(2 above and 1 below) no upgrade to video on demand is available on these shorter routes. You will still see the other movies listed from page 133 however will just see a blank screen when selecting that title(due to licensing laws) You will still have access to the games and TV programmes.
ex-long haul 767 only (G-OBYD/YE/YG/YJ)
Outbound
Echelon Conspiracy
Inbound

Wow just looking at Simons post about the flight I am going on. Looks confusing! All getting a bit complicated, I bet the people on the Bodrum flights are having a good time flying on the First Choice 767's.
Hope it remains as this for my flight as a FCA plane looking forward to it.

Will Do
Getting excited now but it tends to drag this close
I shall write a trip report when I get back and fill you all in on Thomson's long haul service.
