shelly,
I think you've been given accurate information. I have it showing as a technical problem.

The winter menu is still being decided and should be known towards the end of October ready for a November 1st Launch. The In flight entertainment should be also know either the last week of October or first week of November, so check back on the forums then, they won't be known before, to save you asking again.
If you take a look at my last post, above it will be of similar standard to the summer menu.
Thank you so much for the menu choices in premium
Thanx for reply will check back in october.
Yesturday you were kind enough to inform me that the 767 300 ER had a seating config of 2 - 3 - 2 however my friend who has just come back from ther elast week unknown to myself has said the seating is 2 - 4 - 2 is there a reason for this. Th eflight number is TOM 132
gareth
The ex First Choice Have Seating 2-3-2,
The ex Thomsonfly Have Seating 2-4-2.
You Friend Must Have Been On An ex Thomsonfly, Your's Is Scheduled To Be Operated By An ex First Choice but Maybee Changed For Maintenence Or Other Reasons
I Hope This Clears Things Up A Little

rogerhac,
As Gower has mentioned and as I'm sure you've read here, there are lots of changes to flights at the moment. Your flight is scheduled to be operated by a former First Choice aircraft. TOM132/3 was a Thomsonfly aircraft up until 13th June, but it's now changed to a First Choice. Was you friend on the same flight (number) as you? There are several flights per week some of which are the ex-TOM and some ex-FCA.

I've booked a holiday to Mexico at the end of August (21st) which flys from Glasgow. From research so far, it appears it's an ex First Choice plane. Does anyone know the tail number for the aircraft used on this flight?
I booked the holiday through Portland. Although they are part of Thomson, I wasn't able to pick the seats I got when I booked, even though I paid for the Premium seats, which I believe you can do if you book via Thomson online. I called up Portland and the operator said that they couldn't allocate me seats as the seats were allocated at check-in and all she could do was put a note on my booking that we wanted to be sat together at a window.
I got the feeling she was just fobbing me off. Has anyone booked via Portland and managed to get seats pre-allocated?
You Are Correct, Your Flight Will Be Operated By A Boeing 767-300/ER From The ex First Choice Fleet.
However It Is Way To Early To Tell What Aircraft Will Be Operating Your Flihgt (Registration) As They Are Changed Regulaly. If You Ask Again A Few Days Befor You Depart Then We Should Know.
Try Phoning Thomson Airways Direct To Pre-Book Specific Seats On The Aircraft. Contact Detais On Their Website Thomson Flights

Hi i'm flying to sharm el sheikh on the 9th august from manchester, can you tell me what plane i will be flying on, and what the meals and ife is??
It does help if you provide the flight number for us.
TOM546 was scheduled to be operated on a Boeing 757-200 but due to increase demand looks like this has been changed to a Boeing 767-300 (324Y) which is the short haul configuration.
If you have a quick look back the IFE has been posted on page 136 which will be shown on a seat back TV but you won't be able to select the film you watch.

Providing the aircraft assigned on the day has seat back IFE installed; only 4 of the 6 aircraft have it.
