I've not been issued with the winter aircraft schedule as yet, but I would assume the aircraft will be the same as last year; Boeing 737-800 (winglets).
MAN-SSH-MAN (TOM876/7) are operated by Boeing 767-304/ER (328Y / short haul). IFE is posted on page 136
(near the bottom) and meal information provided by BY-TOM-AMM-FCA on pages 137/8.
I'm going away on Sunday to the Maldives and i've booked extra legroom seats which cost £70 each return. From what I can tell, these seats aren't guaranteed together and I can't choose specific seats for my flight?
Can someone confirm whether this is correct?
It's only me and the girlfriend travelling, so we will get to the airport just before check-in opens to get our seats together.
(It's from Gatwick, Flight no. TOM054 on FCA B763ER)
Nope, I booked it through First Choice, but will give Thomson a ring.
It's just that when I booked through the website, it wouldn't let me tick the box for both 'extra legroom' and 'reserved seating', it was either or, so I just ticked extra legroom.
You should be able to book specific seats. We have booked extra legroom seats for our flight to Egypt next month. also booked spectific seats numbers two weeks ago. We booked them direct with the airline and not our travel agent.
As Pat Says You Are Best To Phone Thomson Airways Direct, And They Will Be Able To Sort It Out For You, Off The Top Of My Head I Think Is Is £6 Per Person Per Way
Welcome onboard
MAN-SFB-MAN (TOM112/3) are operated by a former Thomsonfly Boeing 767-304/ER (283 / long haul). You'll find further aircraft information on our What Aircraft? guide.
It should be G-OBYI, but it's irrelevant really as all the ex-TOM long haul aircraft were identical. There'll only be one former TOM 763 in operation on long haul when you fly, otherwise it would be impossable to say this far in advance.
