NicS,
It's scheduled to be a 757-200 (winglets) all season and I've double checked on ACARS for the actual aircraft being used and it's correct (G-CPEV / B75W was used last week). It would never have been a long haul configured 767-300/ER (2-3-2 config).

Hello, would you know what exact aircraft reg would be yet for my flight on 30 july?? and if its still two ex first choice.
It's impossable to say this far out. Is it the TOM6661/2 you're on? G-CPEP is down there at the moment, I'm not sure which is partnering it. Aircraft types are the same as we've reported previously, both ex-FCA.
Darren
Anyone know if you still get free earphones with Thomson Long haul flights?
We got complimentary headphones on man to sanford 21st. May / 4th. June. They were collected in at the end of each flight by the cabin crew, however. We were in premium cabin. I genuinly could not find mine and might have gotten away with it but they turned up when we were disembarking and ,being a perfect ,honest person I handed them in. Honest! (You might think that but I couldn't possibly comment!).

z.j.c,
I remember us getting to keep them last time we flew with them.

It Is Actually G-BYAU That Is Down In BRS With G-CPEP At The Moment, But It Is Unusualy For There To Be An ex BY There

They're collected in in the premium cabin as they're expensive noise cancelling ones. They aren't normally collected in in economy though, on the ex First Choice aircraft at least as they're for use on the inbound flight as well. I always take my own noise cancelling ones as i can't be doing with the ones in your ear for 10 hours!
Time to ask the experts again...!
We are off to Mexico 27th July from Newcastle on TOM 568 and back on TOM 569. Do you know if this is operated with an ex FCA 767 and if so is the IFE like the other Thomson 767's with VOD ( if you upgrade)
thanks in advance.
Thanks for a excellent forum.
We are due to fly from Manchester to Cancun on 22 July 2009. Thomson have called us this morning to tell us the plane is being repaired for a technical fault and will be replaced by another 767 with reduced seat pitch 29". Not sure if you know but will this plane be an ex thomson or ex First choice or someone elses plane and do you know if it will have seat back IFE.
I know this is a tall order but thanks in advance anyway.
Cheers,
Chris.
Does anyone know what the IFE will be on the Gatwick to Taba flight on Tuesday 4th August - TOM726?
Many thanks
Nicola
Hey same has happened to us are aircraft has been changed for our flight to Cancun Tomorrow. They told us they have seat back IFE's but not the seat pitch. The aircraft operating out flight I think is going to be G-OBYE so I would imagine the plane will come back from Cancun when it drops me off and pick you up.

NicS,
Your flights are operated by a former First Choice Boeing 767-300/ER. The IFE system is pretty much the same as on the aircraft you were on previously. You'll find the July / August IFE listing on page 134.
Darren
Welcome onboard
As z.j.c mentions, I would expect them to be using one of their short haul configured Boeing 767-304/ER's with seat back IFE to cover while the original aircraft is repaired.
Darren
Have a great holiday in Cancun, don't have too many Corona's and Tequila's! Thanks for all your help on the forums and don't forget to tell us all about it when you get back
Darren
Don't worry I will do, no problem I don't mind helping out at all.
Ill prepare some reviews for the Outbound and Inbound when I get back for you all.
See you in 2 weeks!
Not too concerned about the lack of legroom but 10.5 hours with no seat back T.V would have been hard work.
Thanks again for a great forum and a very speedy reply
Chris
