JasonMack,
Your flights will be operated by a Boeing 737-800 (winglets)
More information on our what aircraft? thread (link below)

We have not prebooked and paid for meals as I do not fancy an airline cooked breakfast at 6:30am!! Do Thomson sell food items on board? At that time of the morning probably a drink and a muffin will be enough.

Could someone please tell me what type of aircraft will be based at cwl this summer; And what route's they may be operating on.Many thanks.
Pippa,
You can view the routes offered from CWL in Summer 2010 on the timetable provided on Thomsons website. Aircraft types operating from CWL through the summer include Boeing 737-800 (winglets) and Boeing 757-200 (wingets). We can let you know what type is operating on specific flights it you let us know what flight you're on. There's too many to list otherwise.

Any idea what happened to the MAN-MLE TOM116 flight today as I noticed the incoming Goa flight is delayed by over 12 hours? Did they swap the aircraft? If so what to?
Thanks
Andy
The 116 (MLE) got away about 35 minutes late. G-DBLA was looking like it was due to operate it, but that got tied up on the Goa. G-OOBL operated the MLE so ButterflyFish10 should be at about 35,000ft right now just over half way to MLE.

Can anyone tell me what aircraft we will are likely to be flying on:
Outbound - Gatwick to Aruba 31st July - TOM 024
Inbound - Aruba to Gatwick 14th Aug - TOM 025
Also;
1) Will the aircraft be a Thomson or Ex First Choice?
2) What will the seat configuration be in Premium?
3) Do the seats at the rear of the premium cabin fully recline?
4) Are the toilets in premium at the front or the rear of the cabin?
5) I understand that the seats at the front of the cabin are not classed at Medical Seats? Do the arm rests in these seats lift up, where is the TV located and is there anymore legroom in these seats as opposed the the rest of the premium cabin?
Sorry for so many questions!
Regards,
Pat
LGW-AUA-LGW (TOM024/5) should be operated by a former First Choice Boeing 767-300/ER. We'll be able to confirm it in May. You'll find further aircraft information on our What Aircraft? guide (see below). The premium cabin is configured 2-3-2 with the seats at the back having full recline. Row 9 doesn't have a window however. The premium toilet is located at the front of the cabin on the port (left) side. The seats at the front are classed as medical seats if they are needed as they are bulkhead seats and close to the toilet. All the arm rests in the premium cabin of the ex-FCA aircraft are fixed. The tray table lifts from the arm rest rather than folds from the back of the seat in front. All seats have seat back IFE apart from the front row where the screen lifts from the arm rest, along with the tray table. There's a little extra legroom on the front row. However because you have a bulkhead infront, those with long legs may not be able to strech their legs out like you can if you have a seat in front. Seating is always personal preference.

Thanks for your reply ... appreciated.
Couple of more questions for you .... Re: "row 9 doesn't have a window" I assume row 9 is the rear of the cabin? Also, as there will be 3 of us travelling, we would be looking at booking the middle 3 at the rear of the cabin. Do these middle 3 seats sit slightly back from the seats on either side? (hope that makes sense!)
Regards,
Pat
Row 9 is the last row of the premium cabin and the windows are blanked out as it's where cables and other things are routed. The seats in the centre are slightly staggered behind the outer rows so passengers exiting the rows don't knock in to each other (aids evacuation). It's only a slight stagger. You'll find photos of the cabins linked from our What Aircraft? guide.
Darren
Thanks once again Darren for your help.
I know they are introducing new planes, am I likely to get one with this flight?
We haven't upgraded, should I have?
I could have booked (Sat) 25 Sep 10 for less than £20 more each, thats not the new planes flight is it
The new aircraft (Boeing 787-800) won't start to be delivered until at least April 2011 due to delays in development at Boeing. More details on this post. Your flights will be operated by existing Boeing 767-300/ER's. Whether to upgrade from economy to premium economy is personal preference. Personally, I think the economy cabin is excellent and offers everything you need. You'll find further aircraft information on our What Aircraft? guide (see below).

Just out of interest, will they keep the same seat pitch on the new Dreamliners?
Sorry to bother you again.
Having booked Premium Upgrade to Aruba with Thomson, I understand that they will contact me via E Mail 60 days before my departure to choose my preferred seats numbers. It I were to phone the airline now, would I be able to book them now, and if so, do you know what the extra cost would be?
Many thanks,
Pat
You can prebook your seat numbers 90 days prior to your inbound flight, either online or with Thomson airlines. They can't do it before that date as the system is not set up. There is no extra charge.
thomsons dont normally e-mail custimers when being able to choose your seats become available but having just booked mine on line it is 90 days before your return journey your able to do this, but my nephew tried to do his seats over the phone was told 60 days,he to went online and successfully booked his seats, hope this helps
As the others have mentioned, Thomson won't contact you but you can select your seat up to 90 days before you fly. Simply enter your booking reference and other flight details on Thomsons Flight Extras website. I did mine the other week, it only takes a few minutes. It'll give you the exact release day on your booking confirmation when you get it.
Darren
Darren, I've got my booking confirmation but can't find the release day anywhere. It's probably under my nose ..... where about's is it on the confirmation?
