only 8 days till flight to MLE - TOM116. Is it still the ex Fca 767 scheduled on this one? A little nervous as I've booked premium and seen a couple of posts about swap out aircraft with diff config, especially not enough premium seats....
Thanks
andy
In a similar vein to the last poster, I'd be grateful if you could tell me the actual plane scheduled for tomorrow's TOM116 flight Manchester to Male. I know it should be ex First Choice but can you advise whether it's a v1 or v2 so that I can check whether there will be any issue with the extra legroom seats we have reserved.
welcome onboard
BHX-CUN-BHX (TOM802/3) are operated by a Boeing 767-300/ER of the former Thomsonfly fleet. The flight operates via Manchester outbound. The premium cabin offers greater seat pitch over the economy cabin; 37" compared to 33". Row 2 seats A/B are the first row of outer seats in the premium cabin, behind the bulkhead. They do offer slightly more room but because they have the bulkhead infront, those with longer legs may not be able to strech them out fully as there isn't a seat to put your legs under like the other seats. You'll find further aircraft information along with a seating plan on our What Aircraft? guide (see below).

TOM116/7 are still showing as a former First Choice Boeing 767-300/ER, don't worry! Have a great time.

Specific aircraft (registrations / airframes) swap and change all the time. There isn't one particular aircraft assigned to a flight or airport. They are rotated regularly for maintenance. TOM116/7 are mainly V2 aircraft, but V1 is sometimes used. There are five V2 aircraft and one V1 so chances are, you'll be on a V2. There are the same number of extra legroom seats so even if the aircraft is changed, you'll still get them but the specific row number may be different.

OK thanks Darren. Apoliogies, I thought I'd read in the past that you knew the actual plane scheduled to be used on the day before the flight. Thanks anyway.
Sorry, I think I got your post mixed up with Butchart1979, you both begin with B anyway!!! TOM116/7 should be operated by G-DBLA (V2) tomorrow. The aircraft is on it's way to Goa today and should be back in MAN at 1400 Tuesday afternoon ready to take you at 1700.
Have a great time
Darren
Thanks Darren, that's really helpful and one less thing to worry about!
Darren, help! The Manchester airport website is showing the incoming Goa flight as being delayed (estimated arrival 3am Weds). Just so I can prepare myself - what is the likely outcome for our Male flight? Will it also be delayed or might a different plane be found? Thank you.
You'll just have to check-in as normal and see what happens. I don't work in Ops so don't have insider information. They may be able to juggle things around and bring in a seperate aircraft if there's a problem or if you are subject to a knock-on delay, you'll normally be put up in a local hotel or given vouchers for the airport until the aircraft arrives. I've been on a 52 hour delay so I know what it's like. Be assured though that even though it may not seem like it, there are people behind the scenes working to get you on your way as soon as you can.

Welcome onboard
LGW-FAO-LGW (TOM4418/9) are operated by a Boeing 737-300. You'll find further aircraft information on our What Aircraft? guide (see below).

On the 763 seat plan, 46AB looks to have quite a gap behind it, i presume its got full recline without imposing on any passengers behind?
Any seats for 2 you recommend without the extra legroom or premium? looks like they are filling up fast.
Oh and on the return TOM2645 763W I presume is config'd for short haul There are rows 7-12 and 18-32 . You best choice on these as well please as i dont have the image for the ones in short haul config.

can any one tell me what route ex f/c 767-300 will operate before tom138 7th march gla-lrm
There's a bulkhead behind row 46, it's just not shown on the seating plan. They recline though, maybe not quite as far as a normal seat (not sat in one for a while!). Seating is always personal preference. Apart from extra legroom seating, all seats offer the same seat pitch and facilities. If you're travelling as a couple, one of the pairs by the window might suite you so you're together.

Thanks for the help Darren
The aircraft operates TOM124/5 or TOM184/5 before normally. However, these are ad-hoc charter (cruise) flights so the schedule changes weekly and I can't see them listed for March so probably aren't operating then. There isn't a particular flight beforehand. Your flight is also an ad-hoc charter so I suspect the aircraft will position in from Manchester or Gatwick to operate it, inbound as TOM138F.
Darren
Thanks mate
