Thanks Helen
Just wondered if you knew the actual aircraft for tomorrow's MAN-MLE TOM116 yet. Getting very excited now!
Wife now beginning to think I'm a little obsessed!?
Thanks for the help!
Another question for you.
We are due to fly on a former First Choice aircraft (767-300/ER). Have booked premium, and are thinking about requesting seat numbers 10C,D and E (rear seats in cabin)
Upon looking at these on the seat plan it appears that there are toilets located to the left hand side of them. Would these toilets be for the sole use of people in premium? It's just that the toilets in economy appear to be at the rear of the aircraft, and it seems quite a long walk for people in row 11, and should we decide to book 10C,D and E, I don't fancy a queue of people lining up beside us to use the toilet.
Thanks once again.
Regards,
Pat
The toilet right behind row 9AB is for the for the use of Economy and Premium passengers, there is a curtain that goes from the back bulkhead around the aisle and behind row 9 and the toilet(awkward to explain) it means customers are constantly walking into the person sat in 10C through the curtain. There are two premium toilets on this aircraft one in the normal place and one directly opposite.
I would recommend any row apart from 1 or 9(10 on G-OOAN) assuming there is three of you I would go for row 3-8 as you wont get too much noise from the galley and either way you'll be nearly first off. There is also more baggage space in the middle of the premium cabin as most equipment tends to be either at row 1 or 9(10 on AN)
Hope this helps.
So I take it that we are more likely to be on a 767300ER (258 seats), and if so we would be looking at booking seat numbers 9C,D and E without being hindered with the toilet situation?
regards,
Pat
MAN-SSH-MAN (TOM546/7) are operated by a Boeing 767-300/ER (winglets). This is likely to be in the short haul configuration. Egypt is a short (mid) haul destination.

Parkera,
As BY-TOM-AMM-FCA mentions, there are two variations to the FCA fleet; Version 1 and Version 2. As Gower mentioned, there's only 1 aircraft in the V1 configuration, and 5 in the V2. Aircraft are swapped and changed all the time so it's impossable to know at this stage which it will be. There's a greater chance of a V2 than a V1. Both condigurations have 258 seats (63 premium 195 economy). Seating is always personal preference but BY-TOM-AMM-FCA mentions the main things.

MAN-PMI-MAN (TOM2138/9) are operated by a Boeing 737-300. You'll find further aircaft information on our What Aircraft? guide (see below)

Thanks Darren and BY-TOM-AMM-FCA for all your help ...... appreciated.
Got tickets today for upcoming stay and cruise 7th march gla-lrm states on tickets (book actually ) 23kg hold 7kg hand which im well pleased about. but can i still pre book my seat even though i have my tickets?
You can pre-book your seats anytime within the specified times. They won't be assigned until the day before your flight, then you can't change them. I got my tickets on saturday too. I quite like the new booklets, they look more like a travel guide than tickets! I have the same luggage allowance as you being on a Premier Collection holiday but also have an extra 5kg for diving equipment
Darren
We've booked premium for our flights to Punta Cana on May 12th.
Can anyone advise on what the luggage allowance is for premium? When we flew premium last year it was 23kg. I seem to recall reading somewhere that it is now 20kg.
Thanks for your help.

Baggage allowance is detailed on Thomsons website. Premium customers have a 30kg allowance comprising of up to 23kg hold and up to 7kg hand luggage. This will be confirmed on tickets when you get them.
Darren
Not sure i'll manage it though, at least it means I can probably pack my laptop in my carry on luggage now.
I havent booked premium class or upgraded but it dose say on tickets 23kg.
I havent booked premium class or upgraded but it dose say on tickets 23kg.
that seems quite normal for a cruse charter
Selected holidays, for example Premier Collection (ie the posher hotels) give a few extras like increased baggage allowance, selected seats and meals etc. I'm off to Egypt on a Premier Collection holiday in 3 weeks and get all the perks. It's all in the small print!
