Hi,
I understand that all of the Thomsonfly and First Choice (now Thomson Airways) planes are being repainted to show the new Thomson Airways livery and that the Boeing 737's, 757's and the 767's and being fitted with winglets.

How many and which planes have been repainted already?
Also, which planes are next on the list to get repainted and fitted with winglets throughout 2010 and beyond?

I understand that I am asking a lot but please can you tell me because as a keen airplane enthausiast I would love to know.

TBROWN,

All the information is on this thread if you use the search function. Alternatively, try Jethros Fleet listings. For general aviation enquiries, you might want to check out the aviation forums such as Airliners.net.

Thomson premium flights to sanford, Sept 12
Can any one tell me what plane we would be flying on, how wide the seats are in premium and also do all the seats have liftable armrests ie, if 2 sitting together can we lift the middle armrest to give a bit more space, if not are there any charter flights that have this, or do we need to fly scheduled

magrog76,

Welcome onboard :tup
Your flights are operated by a Boeing 767-300/ER. You'll find further aircraft information on our What Aircraft? guide (link below). Seats are approximately 18.5 inches wide in premium economy. There are two distinct configuratons for the 767's; ex-Thomsonfly and ex-First Choice because of the merger. We won't know what's assigned to your flight until May. The ex-Thomsonfly aircraft have liftable armrests in premium, the ex-First Choice don't (exception are the front rows). That's due to the tray tables folding out of the arm rests of the seats on the ex-First Choice rather than the seat back tables as fitted to the ex-Thomsonfly. The other charter airlines have liftable arm rest. You could always travel in the economy cabin, all the seats other than extra legroom have liftable arm rests.

I have booked a holiday with First Choice to Holguin Cuba on 19th July flight number TOM094. Having previously flown FC Premium the front seats have been quite limited in space but when looking at the seat plan for Thomson the Premium front AB seats look as if they have a little more space - is this actually the case or a trick of the eye in the plan? Also, does anyone know if it will be a Thomson airplane for this flight or an ex First Choice? Any info would be welcomed.
