Im flying on thomson airways from London Gatwick to Cancun on the 15th of May at 09:15.
Could anyone advise as to wether it will be a first ex FCA or a TOM plane? The seat plan I booked our seat on is set out 2-3-2 so i think this is FCA as TOM are set out 2-4-2 but wanted to check.
Also i have heared that an upgrade is avalible to the IFE for £5 on Thomson Airways but i wanted to chesck if this is avalible on ex FCA planes as well as ex TOM planes.
Many thanks in advance, the information given here is highly apreciated!
Your flight should be operated by the ex FCA Boeing 767-300/ER.
There is the same £5 IFE upgrade option regardless of whether it is ex TOM or ex FCA
Gower
Many thanks for that Gower!
hi, we are flying to dalaman on sept 11th this year at 1555. booked with first choice. can anyone tell me what aircraft and seating plan this is please? thanks
DSA-DLM-DSA (TOM654/5) are operated by a Boeing 737-300. You'll find further aircraft information on our What Aircraft? guide (link below).

Hi Darren just wondered if you could clarify something please. I have booked seats 18a and 18b on the 737-800. Looking at the seating plan on Thomson's website it looks like they are well back of the wings. I have read your trip report from Lapland and looking at your photos you were in row 20 and looks like you were pretty much just behind the rear of the wings??? Do you know for definate if row 18 we booked will be over the wings? Am just thinking we would like a view from the window so would like to be clear of the wings.
I was in row 21 when I took the photos onroute to Kittila, Finland. Row 18 is over the wings, but towards the rear of them. Row 21 where I was is just over the flaps, on the training edge of the wing. You'll still get views of the groung from row 18, but you'll obviously have the wing blocking part of the view.
Darren
thanks for info re films and entertainment, I am hoping for a few of those to be shown.
Thank you Darren for the info.
Please can you clarify something for me. It is regarding the ex FCA 767-300's and windows. Is it correct that all the ex FCA planes have no window in premium on row 9 or is it just a particular version that doesn't.
Thanks
It is common to all Boeing 767-300's not to have a window in that location on the aircraft. It just happens to be row 9 on the ex-FCA's. It's due to the routing of cables and other aircraft systems from the lower to upper part of the fuselage.
Darren
Thanks Darren

Does anyone know if the movies this month are the same for next month, or do they change on 1st May? Travelling to Punta Cana on 5th May.. thanks!
Keith
They change 3 times per season (every 2 months);
Summer: May/June, July/August, September/October
Winter: November/December, January/February, March/April.

We're flying out London Gatwick to Sanford on the 5th June 2010 - Flight No TOM046. We've got seats 5a, 5b, 6a and 6b. Do you know what sort of seats these are - are we near bulkheads or anything like that? Also do you know what type of airplane we'll be on? I saqw on the What aircraft? topic that Thomson use 767-300 and 767-304s for their long-haul - don't suppose you know which one it'll be for our flight?
Thanks!
