I would most certainly go and complain about the service you have received and tell them that due to their mistakes and lateness of sending information, you are unable to do anything about the problems. It sounds as though they have made a real mess of the whole booking if you have two rooms instead of one etc.
I hope you can get this resolved one way or another, as I wouldn't like to be separated from my partner and son, as my partner was working nights and he very rarely saw us, so a holiday means everything to the family.

Three travel agents tried everything they could but they could not find anything suitable. My children are devastated as they wanted to go on a cruise.
My Husband then had the task of telling them that we would have to stay on our original holiday, we did not have the extra £60 and did not want to be split up on both parts of our holiday. It looks like they have won.
It is not over yet. We will go on this holiday, but will fight it as much as possible when we get back if not sooner.
