Euros and liras can be used throughout Turkey.

The hotel shop will accept any money although everything is priced in Euro's. It is VERY expensive though. Just outside the hotel there is a shopping bazaar that is much cheaper. Tell her to take lilo's etc with her as they are very pricey.
Plenty of kiddies cocktails and mlkshakes available and the mini bar (free) is stocked with fanta, coca cola and cartons of juice.
Plenty of photos on Trip Advisor (travellers photo's).
They will have a great time, it's a lovely ultra 5* AI, with loads of kiddies facilities.

Hi Marie and David

We're just there for one week :( (as I can't get my hubby to leave his business for any longer), but I'm sure 1 week will be fantastic. 2 would have been better, or even 3! ha ha. we're hoping all the entertainment/activites etc are still on. I'm guessing that September is still classed as the summer season...

Day of Departure info please.
Our flight isn't till 23.30hrs so I am assuming we won't be getting picked up for the airport till around 21.00hrs ish! We have to deaprt our rooms by mid day. As we' will be round the pool for the rest of the day, is there adequate showering and hairdrying facilities about or would we be able to book a courtesy room.
Can we still use the restaurants till departure?
Are there lockers by the pool to leave our valubles ( jewellery, tickets /passport) rather than keep them with us that day?

Thanks.

Cazz, you will need to ask on the day of departure if you can keep on the hotel room, but it is expensive (was 10 Euro per hour when we were there). There are courtesy rooms available for showering etc, but don't remember if hairdryers were available.
You can use all of the facilities and have all your meals up to departure time, which is likely to be around 7 - 7.30pm (they take you to the airport VERY early). I don't recall any lockers etc but all the luggage is locked up and the general public have no access to it and we considered it safe enough to leave our passports etc in the luggage room.

Thanks Denny, 10E per hour is a bit steep, will just book a slot in a courtesy room then and hope there is a hairdryer.

Hi CazzMicknTom

Our return flight in really late too... A bit later than you. On a previous mailing, someone stated that we can use the spa area to freshen up etc. and that its ok to use all the facilities until we leave. I'm sure someone said there are comfy sofas in the spa area, where they their kids had a rest prior to leaving the hotel for the flight. We probably do that rather than keep a room, as it works out quite abit...

Has anyone stayed here this year?? Only I've been reading reviews (not on this forum) but others on the internet and I must say, they are not good. :(
I've been looking forward to this holiday for nearly a year now after reading fantastic reviews on here and other forums but from what I've been reading staff are rude, more friendly towards russians, rooms are in need of a refurb, meals poor, no meal facilities on the beach...... :que

Not sure were you're reading your reviews but the only ones I've seen are positive.

All this stuff about the staff being nicer to Russian and German guests is a lot of old tripe - if you are nice to them, they are nice to you so don't believe everything you read!!

BTW what sort of meals are you wanting on the beach?

It was the trip advisor website.

We were just wanting a snack if we are to spend the day on the beach and a few drinks. From what I have read it seems a bit of a hike going back and forth to hotel for drinks from the beach.

Totally agree about being pleasant to staff. We once stayed in a hotel in spain and everyone commented on a Romanian waiter, saying he was a right miserable sod. We always found him to be pleasant as we talked to him, costs nothing to be curteous does it.

I'm starting to panic again as some airspace is being closed again as I type.....bliddy volcano! :(

Sorry but are you having a laugh - are you talking about 2 reviews on trip advisor by juicymango14 & Iainy29?

Iainy29 - obviously has a problem with Germans and doesn't actually review the hotel so I would just dismiss this review!!

juicymango14 - Have you read the other 1 review they have on TA - same holiday and same story!! They seem to think that you get better value for money going to Dubai but they haven't reviewed any hotels there and probably haven't even been :rofl

Don't just take peoples word for it - I also use TA before I book holidays but I also look to see who is actually reviewing the hotel as well!! put it this way 85% of people would return to the Titanic and out of 260 reviews 221 people gave it excellent or very good :tup

Go have a great time (I'm positive you will) and forget about these people that just like to have a moan!!

BTW I'm booked for July 2011 for the Titanic and I have no worries :cheers
