Is this the free insurance you get with Flexaccount? I've just relied on that when going to Cyprus last couple of years although not had to resort to it yet. So they will charge extra £30-100 for declared conditions?
Yes it's the free insurance with the flexaccount. I didn't have to pay the extra but I wouldn't have been covered if any illness either of us had was related to our medical conditions. I didn't want to take the chance tbh.
If you, or anyone you are travelling with has a medical condition then it's best to declare it whether you want to pay for it to be covered or not.
I'm presuming the amount depends on how high the risks are that you may need assistance?
.I told them about the medication that two of my children are on and they said that there was no extra charge so it's not all doom and gloom .They were the only ones who would cover me initially after my op. I tried Aviva this time for an annual policy and as soon as I mentioned that I had had cancer in 2010 he said I couldn't go on the annual family policy and that I could only buy a single trip policy.
