Has anyone got any experience of Vasia Beach & Spa ?
Have just booked a week of all-inclusive at this place for mid-to-late August 2006.
Was wondering if anyone can give me any information about either the hotel, or Sissi in general, which may be of use.
Thanks in advance

We have never heard of any complaints about Vasia Beach, only good reports.

Thanks for all the replies so far.
could you tell me if the building work has finished and how does the hotel looks.
ps looking forward to visiting the Calypso Cafe
see you in May
Building work has NOT been completed on the new block. Rumours are that they are seeking alternative accommodation in nearby hotels. This is only a rumour and we will not know what is happening until people start to arrive. I am guessing that part of the new block will be finished and there will only be any problems later in the season.
I am going to this Hotel at the end of may and any information you (or anyone else) can give would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
"all the building works finished and we're expecting our first guests this Friday. so don't worry - everything is ok."
I've just cycled down to the village to look at Vasia. From the outside the actual buildings look finished. Finishing and furnishing the inside continues. Landscaping and work in the grounds continue. There are only a few workmen about so it must be nearly complete. I think the work will be complete in the next couple of weeks. I do not think any of you will have any problems. Please do not worry about it, just look forward to a nice holiday!!
I've put up a web page of links for Sisi and the Vasia which I always do when I go to a new place. If anyone can add anything, please pm me.

Enjoy! Marion
ps Kapparis is in the east of Cyprus where I have an apartment, but I felt like going somewhere different!
Has anyone recently visited vasia beach hotel since the refurbishment etc? I have booked up for this summer to go all incl, and am wondering how they are coping with the extra responsibilities that they have taken on. Apparently, this used to be a self catering and part all incl, and has always had very good reviews, however, I am curious to see if they are still up to the same standards. Also, I have never gone all incl before, but thought that it would be a cheaper option for me as the kids are getting older and it seems to make sense, so any comments would be appreciated. Is it true that you hardly spend any money? Unless you want to do a lot of trips etc. I would love to know what the food is like and if the rooms are are nice as they say. I'm sure I'm worrying about nothing, but it's nice to put your mind at rest when you have spent a lot of money! Many thanks in advance for any help
We have seen a good deal for the vasia beach on line all inclusive. However, one of us is vegetarain . Can anyone who has been on the all inclusive deal let us know if there was veggie options in the buffet. Thank you
I have booked 2 weeks all inclusive in August and I am now seriously worried. I have tried emailing the hotel but as yet they have not replied.
Has anyone been recently or going soon?
I have also booked all inclusive with my family in July/August and have spoken to a few people regarding the refurbishment that they were having during the winter. Apparently, they were refubring the restaurant and the spa, and adding some more rooms. I booked with them directly, so I am really worried that if it all goes pear shaped, I have no one to speak to, eg, a rep, so I am wondering what to do. There's a guy called keith who owns a cafe round the corner from Vasia, and he kept us updated, he told me last week that he had spoken to a few of the holiday makers and they reported that the food was good and the accomodation was good, so maybe they have had a few teething problems. If you booked with a tour company, give them a ring and ak them to find out for you exactly what the situation is. I cant believe that it was in the Sunday People as I read all the reviews also about Vasia, and it sounded fantastic. I think maybe it's the begining of the season and they havn't actually got there act together yet maybe? lets keep our fingers crossed for some good news. If you find out anything more in the meantime, please keep me informed, and vice versa. Bye for now.
We have a member going/gone this month - see
Many thanks for your reply. will await anxiously for any feedback from recent visitors. Fingers crossed!
