Max,
Thank you for your help, I may well check it out when we are there ~ I would quite happily go down anything and everything, unfortunately my son hasnt got that mad streak yet lol (or is it just Im the biggest kid lol)
waterworld is well worth the money, we go there everytime we are in pernera, its full day out & great fun for young & older ,
Karen - not sure if you are going with another adult, if you are you have to try Icarus (sp), its fantastic, I screamed the whole time I was on it but still went on again. Cant remember the name of the one my nephew (who was 3 at the time) loved but it was a big circular inflatable you sat in (all sit in together) and came down the twisted shute, wasnt too fast but was a laugh.
but will certainly give thought to checking this place out,
Thers lots of fun for all ages and if you get a taxi there they often give you a voucher which makes it a bit cheaper
ps last summer we did the florida thing and went to Wet n Wild, it wasnt half as good as WaterWorld IMHP!
Going to Limassol in September, never been to Cyprus before. Are there any waterparks near or will we have to travel further afield?
Thanks
Yes there is one in Limassol
thats great! at least i know now i'll have something to do without having to travel too far.
Sorry to say that waterpark wasn't open last year and I don't think it is
this year either ........it was sitting derelict last September when we were over
My son said it had been vandalised and the chutes all scored.
This is the one you want http://www.fasouri-watermania.com/
It's a fabulous waterpark and a bus will take you right to it.........enjoy
Helenxx
Yes, Wet n Wild is closed now I actually liked it because it was small but still had great rides and we could walk to it.
what a shame but thanks for letting me know bluebabe & kezzabelle
Please don't be put off because wetnwild is closed. The waterpark at Fasouri
is fabulous and well worth going to It isn't far out of Limassol and as
buses go to it it's easy to get to. Your hotel should be able to tell you more
about that........unless you're hiring a car, then they'll give you directions.
Check it out tot as you'll love it
Fasouri is a 100% better waterpark and is in lovely grounds. Some excellent rides/slides/pools, etc and is well worth a visit!
As Helen says, all the buses go to it, or you can get a taxi or drive there, it's not really that far at all.
Do go, you'll have a great day!!
sounds really good! thanks for the advice. Its our first time abroad on our own and we're a bit weary but based on your recommendations we'll definately pay it a visit!
You couldn't have picked a more lovely country to visit for your first time abroad on your own tot!
Although we have taken 15 holidays in Cyprus we have never been to the waterpark in Ayia Napa. But when we return this October we are going to spend a day there. Any tips like which days are more quite, entry cost, food and drink prices etc.

It's a great day out and you can get vouchers from bars and the Taxi Drivers for £1CYP off per person. I'd deffo recommend going independently and not with a rep from your tour company. They claim to save you money and say you'll jump the Q.........I disagree it's cheaper to go it alone on the local bus which stops right outside, get there early and you can spend hours in there.
As stated in previous posts you are not allowed to take own food and drinks in and they WILL check your bags. But there are several eateries which aren't mega expensive. Would recommend hiring a locker or someone will have to stay and watch your bags and bits whilst your on the rides
Hi Maurice
WOW that place looks great. We will be hiring a car so will deffinately be paying a visit. Is it far from Limassol.
Limassol to Ayia Napa is approx 1hr 15 mins by car
