Hi
I would say that both of the water parks will be fun for the children, western water park has a few more activity type shows going on, regarding the walk, I think that it would be too far for the children to walk, a taxi will cost you about 5-7 €, I would recommend that you take yoru own food and drinks as this is quite expensive there and lots of sun cream as this is when you tend to catch the sun.

There are always a huge amount of taxis in the car park at the end of the day as they know that there is a big demand so you won't have to wait too long to get home either!

The water parks are just round the corner from the Pirates show.

Have a good time.

there are a couple nearby in magaluf, , aqualand and western water world and there is marineland to' you will get buses easy enough plus you'll get the normal trips going . :) i think western world is really good plenty to do there and very good for youngsters the other aqua is good for the older kids..

got back on friday we went to the western water park.(in magaluf) Had really good day about ten big shoots plus other things for younger kids. But aqualand next door was closed until peak season mid july so we was informed. Would recommend western park had a full day there.

Thanks - Western World it is then. Do you know if they have lockers that you can store your money, camera etc in when you are going on the slides?

Thanks

can anybody please tell me if you can walk to the waterpark from the BELLEVUE in alcudia, also is the waterpark any good ?. thanks :)

It's only about a 20 minute walk, head towards the beach, turn left at the main road and follow it until the 'Burger King' roundabout, turn left and it is on your right on that road, there is a quicker way by heading straight along the canal by the bellvue but it is too complicated for me to type it accurately!
The water park is OK, nothing special compared to the ones in the south of the island, but ok.
Have a look at Alcudia Hidropark website to see slides etc

We were there last week. Its much shorter if you dont walk down to the bottom of the hill, but just cut through to your left after crossing the bridge and keep walking - you will eventually come out on the road that the waterpark is on. Yes its definately walkable but last week it was 41 degrees and we had less than half your distance to walk - so make sure you bring your bottles of water for the journey!

We had two 14 year old boys and they enjoyed it, enough "big" slides to keep them interested but they definately compared it to the massive one in Arenal a bit unfavourably.

The advantage of the one in Alcudia is that there were no queues so they were able to slide to their hearts content, the disadvantage being that the slides werent as exciting as the other one.

If you just want an afternoon out its fine though.
