Thanks Jade
just a note. We went for a trip to the hidro park in alcudia and there was poop floating around in the pools and on the bottam. If you go take swimming shoes especially for the children as it is rather unpleasant.
I am going to Cala Bona in July and my 13 year old daughter and 10 year old niece want to go to a waterpark. Have been to Arenal but it is quite a hike. Thought I would try Alcudia but the above post worries me. Could the above poster elaborate or has anyone else found Alcudia waterpark to be dirty? Thanks
and had fun what the last poster said i take must of been a one off so go and have fun
yours the fatboy
Thanks fatboy- I thought the post might have been a wind up - especially the suggestion for taking swimming shoes Hopefully I will be brave enough to try a couple of slides myself!
hi all off to alcudia in 6 weeks... staying at the jupiter hotel and have been told about a water park near by can anyone tell me if it is good and what is the cost to get in the park thanks ....
Have you tried the web site http://www.hidropark.com. The water park is on the small size so we gave it a miss. Possibly suited if you young children

Try to visit Aqua City- the largest one. Absolutly fab time there. We did this through First Choice whilst we were there as an excursion- had a whole day there.
Can anyone tell me which waterpark is closest to Sa Coma please and how long it would take to get to by car?
I again forgot to also ask. What water park is nearest Santa Ponsa Aqualand in Magaluf or Aqualandia Alcudia. Is it best to just go yoursekf rather than buy from a rep etc.
Definetly the one in Magalluf, the one in Alcudia would be about an hour away from SP.
ok thanks
Is it best to just go yoursekf rather than buy from a rep etc.
Best to book yourself rather than through your rep. A lot cheaper that way
ok thanks.
just booked yesterday got a late deal for £150 for 1 week.
Thats a good price. Have a good holiday

The reps have a job to do, and they are obviously targetted to sell as many as they can, but they are not acting in the interest of the Holidaymakers, but for the company for whom they work. Some of the prices they charge are scandalous, and as I said can almost always be bought cheaper elsewhere.
They get you to go to their welcome meeting, so they can nab you before you get chance to walk around the resort and see all the bargains available.
Whilst on my soapbox, please, please, please avoid the time share reps who have started to appear again this year. They are very very good at conning people into going to the presentation on the lie that you've won a free holiday / bottle of spirit / Carton of cigs etc etc, but you will, repeat will be subjected to a four or five hour stay at their Hospitality Centre before you even get a sniff of your "prize" and they are very very skilled at getting you to part with your money - tell them you are on the dole and don't possess a credit card, whatever you have to do to put them off. It is a massive c o n, yet year after year people get ripped off.
Cheers
Adam
avoid the time share reps
I agree, the timeshare reps are really annoying. When we were in Gran canaria a few years ago they gave us scratch cards and said we've won something, got took somewhere for quite a few hours, all in all a waste of time. Could of slapped my other half for agreeing to go with them. Luckily we didnt agree to signing anything etc.
The same happened to us in Goa last month, said we had won a 2 week stay at a new hotel, but when we asked if we can have it extended onto the holiday we were already on they said no, we had to fly home first and then come back. So we just said no.
