There are 2 water parks both located in Magaluf - both very close to Palma Nova

Aqualand http://www.aqualand.es/magaluf/mallorca

Western Water Park http://www.westernpark.com

Also have a look at this link for loads more info on Palma Nova

Hope this helps

In my opinion the Western park is better than Aqualand. More to see and do as well as the slides

Hi,

We are going to Sa Coma this year, does anyone know if there is a water park near there and if so, how far away is it?

Thanks :)

Went to the Western water park on saturday - fantastic.

The shows are certainly worth watching.

Western does not have lockers. You leave your belongings in a box and can only go back to it 3 times during the day.

Yep that's the one. We have't been since 1998(!) but I remember that the wave pool & the Kamikaze was great fun.

The water park in Alcudia is not so big as the others in Arenal/Western Waterpark etc, but it is just as much fun, and I would go there rather than making the long journey to the others.

Hope you have fun!!!!! 8) 8) 8) 8)

hya,

we have returned from 9 sunny days in puerto pollensa. we visited the waterpark in alcudia while we were their. It cost us 56 euros for 2 adults and 2 children. If you want a sunbed it costs 3 euros to hire, you pay when you go in, and you get a ticket.

The waterpark is a great day out , very safe for children as there are loads of lifeguards. Take a picnic though and plenty to drink as prices are very expensive to eat/drink their.

Hope you enjoy your holiday

Hi

I took my family there a couple of years ago they had a good time but it was a bit tame for my eldest son who was 18 at the time. It was quite good but probably for younger children. It depends on the age of your kids. There is a much bigger water park at Magaluf but thats quite a drive and much busier.

Hi emrich and bluey,

emrich I think it is perfect for the age of your 2. The water park is not too big so they should have a great time. I'm not sure about a 3 year old bluey he might be a bit young for most of the rides although I could be wrong. I'm sure once you get there somebody at your accommodation will be able to help.

Hi there - we just arrived back yesterday from 2 fabulous weeks in Alcudia - we went to the Hidropark twice. My 2 boys aged 8 and 6 loved it there - my youngest still wears armbands and he was allowed on all the slides except the kamikaze - however not sure that your 3 year old will be allowed on many of the slides - they are quite big slides and quite high. However there are 2 big pools catering especially for toddlers with lots of little slides and the water only comes up to their ankles/knees at the edge by the slides. There is also a large playground adjacent to the waterpark with swings, climbing frame and a FREE bouncy castle. There are also little trampolines, but they are a euro for 5 minutes. Please do go - you will enjoy every minute of it. There were loads of toddlers when we were there and they were having the time of their lives.

You didn't say which hotel you are staying at, but the waterpark is directly opposite the Jupiter/Saturno complex. We were staying in Playa del Muro and a taxi only cost us 7 euros straight to the entrance - if you are staying in Alcudia itself it will cost a lot less.

Have a great holiday - wish I was still there!!

went to hydro park last week and it was ok a bit pricey at 15euros for a adult and 8euros for kids especialy as there is only about 5 slides to go on all are very tame but it is just nice for the little ones take your own food as the cafe is rubbish and very dear

hi, i have read on an earlier post that you have to pay extra for the sun beds at the hidro water park in alcudia, does any know if this is true? also i was maybe thinking of going to the one in magaluf instead, do you have to pay for the sun beds there aswell.
i am not a cheap skate but by the time you have paid for 2 adults 2 kids and the sun beds, it sounds like it could be an expensive day.

Sunbeds in the hydro park at Alcudia were 14 euros for 4 when I was there a couple of weeks ago.

Entrance fee was 50 odd euros for a family of four 2 adults two kids 14 & 11yrs old.
