Hi Me, hubby, 3year old and nana and grandad are off to S'illiot on 2nd July and were wondering about any water parks on the island, that are easy to get to either in taxi or bus but preferably taxi as hard to travel in heat and a toddler in tow. Would like a smallish park suitable for children....any help most appreciated. Hubby never been to a water park before so he is very excited!!!

The cost is 18 euros for Adults and 12 euros (I think) for Children. You can always get deals at local exchange/excursion shops. We saw a deal where you get a free child ticket for every 2 adult tickets you buy. We did however stumble across an even better deal. Buy 2 kids Mcdonalds Happy meals and in each meal box they get a free entry to the park!
The park is open from 10am and you can stay all day - there is definitely enough shows and things to do in the park to keep you there till closing time. Food & Drink isn't particularly cheap on the park so bear this in mind. It also costs a couple of euro's for the lockers and you can pay extra to do horse riding and some other activities.
I would definitely go back again and recommend it to anyone.
Hope you get sorted!

me and my partner and our 2 year old son are going to sa coma soon. We would like to know some good places to visit and which of the two waterparks in magaluf are best suited to our son. Thanks
if you go on their website you can download free childrens tickets, there are also some on there for the marineland in portals nous.
Good tip, when you arrive at palma airport on the way out get a few of the free maps they give out, there are some vouchers on the map for 4 euros to spend in the parks
Not a bad park but if you are staying at the other side of the island (we were in Calas de Mallorca) on an excursion you only end up with about 4 hours at the park, as its about hour and a half journey each way, taking pick ups and drop ups in consideration.
We ended up missing most of the shows, it was either that or que for slides etc.
Its about 3 euros (june prices) to hire a sunbed...my advice is to buy a couple of beachmats from your resort...its cheaper, and you can dump your drinks and towells on that.
We took our camera but one of us minded that at any one time. I would suggest you buy a disposable camera and take that, if it goes missing then its no love lost.
I was also peeved that it states that all attractions are free once inside.
Not true
They charged for a very mini kids train, and the bouncy castle.
I would suggest that for those who are staying on the other side of the island to hire a car and have a full day otherwise you dont reap the full value that you are paying at the park

just a note. We went for a trip to the hidro park in alcudia and there was poop floating around in the pools and on the bottam. If you go take swimming shoes especially for the children as it is rather unpleasant.
Thanks Ruth we are of to Alcudia today and plan to go to the waterpark. Thanks for advice
Thanks for the advice... this is our first holiday abroad with the kids and I've spent an absolute fortune on summer clothes for them (as i'm sure you know N.Ireland doesn't get the best of weather), shoes for the pool are something I have yet to buy!!
swimming shows are fantastic for kids as they also stop them from slipping when running around the pool area and in the sea. We get them from Next or asda.... only for a few pound and they are worth their weight in gold as well as the u-v protection sunsuits. We dont let our little girl out in the sun without one.
Going to Alcudia in July and we will have car rental for a week. I was just wondering what is the nearest good waterpark. I dont necessarily want big scary rides our kids range in age from 4,7,9,12. All advice greatly appreciated. Thank You.

The one in Alcudia may not be just so big, but it does have some super slides, and it is not half so crowded.................also its about half the price, well worth the money.
The restaurantes are very expensive though, bring a picnic with you, or go out to the little bar opposite for lunch and come back in again
I am with tootsie on this one we were there last may and had great fun in the water park.we walked there from the the strip and it took about 20min our girl is 8 and she loved it could go on all the slides .there was plent to keep the whole family entertained all day.
Hi I'm sure the Alcudia one will be open in high season. It's not worth a long journey when you've got a waterpark nearby. It is situated near the Jupiter/Saturno hotels just up the road from the magic centre.
Thanks everyone. Hi Tootsie & Acorncup great to see you over here.
It is right opposite the Saturo Jupitor Marte Hotels
Well in the side street next to theses Hotels
Hope you have a great time we always do
Does anyone know if this is walking distance from the Delphin Verde hotel?
Hi marie yep it is only about 10mins walk from your hotel
