I am staying in the Hotel Club Marte in Alcudia in August and was wondering if anybody knew of any water parks close by in particular the wester water park.

Western Water park is in Magaluf in the south of the island. No problem arranging day trip either through travel reps, local companies or even the hotel themselves. Take about 50 mins to get there. If taking kids well worth doing. Older, smaller waterpark in Alcudia but never visited it.
You are about two minutes walk from the water park in Alcudia!!!
Its not as big as the others, but plenty good enough for a day out, and you dont have to sit on a bus for over an hour each way.

walk out the back of your hotel complex and your at the water park people are waiting ti get in the water park at least half an hour before it opens, but great day out.
Also great pub across the road from hotel jupiter.saturno and marti called queens, mano is the land lord

alcudia water park was small, still a good day out and change of scenery and its close by, theres another water park towards magaluf area, i didnt go there the rest of the family did, bit of a drag on the bus
Hi one good thing about staying at the Marte is when you visit the waterpark with it been just across the road from waterpark you can get a pass out and go back to your hotel for dinner etc and then go back into waterpark.saves you buying stuff in there
can any one please tell me how to post a new question would like to know how far from the airport to alcudia and has anyone used the resorthoppa service:D
We have used resort hopper b4 its 45mins from airport to alcudia.Also shuttledirect.com is better and cheaper than resorthopper we find that any way

I agree with other posters that unless you really want a couple of hours on a bus in the heat, then the water park in Alcudia itself is fine, and it is literally a stone's throw away from you! I wouldnt recommend the food there, though, so either bring a picnic with you, or (as another poster had said) go out and have your lunch in the bar/bistro just outside, and go back in again!

Western Water Park is by far the better, and has more deals available at the local outlets. Most will offer free kids (and transport if in Palmanova/Santa Ponsa area), if you hagle a bit!
we only went to the aqualand park and it looks like the general opinion is that western is better, however we found that the aqualand was a good day out still with some fun rides
Hi there. We went to magaluf last june and were walking distance away from both parks. We chose the Western park because it was quite alot cheaper, and we were not disappointed. If anything they should have been the more expensive, something for all ages, even the grown ups! Highly recommended, a great day out and happy memories. Hope you enjoy.

Planning to visit Aqualand and Western Water Park in June. Can anyone tell me if there are any lockers or anywhere we can leave valuables.
We want to take our video camera and digital camera with us and was hoping that there will be somewhere that we can put them when we go for a swim, otherwise we will have to take turns in guarding the bags!
Hope someone has some info.

went to western waterpark last year and they had large lockers sorry cant remember the charge, cheap enough also pretty certain lockers available at aqua waterpark enjoy.
Hi, We went to both western and aquacity and both have lockers they carge about 3 euros for them. you can go back to them 3 times before you would have to pay again. so its not bad we found that 3 times was enough for us but even if you had to pay again 3 euros is not that bad...Also be warned that as soon as you walk into the parks they take your photo in the hope you will buy them, they are ready for you when you leave, but having said that they did not pressure us to buy them but they are a nice memento of your day there.
