I know it's a risk you take when you go to Beni at this time of year, but I was hoping we'd be a bit luckier with the temps.
Just back from Benidorm an hour ago. We didn't have very nice weather during our week's stay. We had about 3 days when it was warm enough to sunbathe for an hour or two, a day of torrential rain/thunder, a coupke of days when it was dry but cloudy and then last night we were caught in heavy rain and strong winds. Even in the sunshine there was a cool breeze

Left Beni this morning, the sun was shining and it looked to be set for a few nice days.
We arrived last Wednesday to sunshine in Alicante but as we arrived in the resort it was cloudy but the sun came out later in the afternoon.
Thursday was gorgous, sunbathed all day, Friday, cloudy with a few rays of sun but rained in the evening and feeling quite cold. Saturday was drizzly and cold so had a wander around the shops. Sunday and Monday a mixture of sun and cloud and again nice sunbathing weather. Still chilly at night.
Overall for the time of year I thought we were lucky with the weather.

Fridays temp was 24, some clouds and really windy, Todays temp 27 blue skies and sun sun sun.

I hope it stays like that as we are over on the 12th may for 2wks, thanks for the updates, keep them coming, how long are you over there for?
27 today and sun sun sun, Leave on the 12th, btw all these reports are taken from the Hotel Calypso weather station situated at the front left of the main reception outside the main entrance at 3pm everyday.
I hope that the Hotel Calypso are charging a premium for being in the hottest place in Spain, because according to the link posted earlier by eddieriff (http://www.intellicast.com/Local/Observation.aspx?location=SPXX0165), and by all reports on Spanish T.V., they are way out with their temperatures.
Oly Daze, This is an in resort posting, How come your always the unhappy one with my particular report, Surely someone else is in Benidorm presently to say what im saying is true 
Whether it's from weather stations, websites, thermometers, or holidaymakers, you will rarely find current reports or forecasts which agree 100% with each other. So let's not start contradicting or bickering with each other again over who may be right or wrong.

Hoy, leave me out of this!, lol. I wasn't ganna say owt but seeing that OD has, I will. I've followed intellicast.com for over a year and coupled with a few others, found it to be reliable. I don't know what they use at the hotel to measure the temp (and don't say a thermometer) but if it's one of those digital displays that are in some streets,they are notoriously innacurate. I've never seen two show the same temperature. Anyway, I'll be more than happy if the hotel is right and Intellicast.com is wrong as I'll be having my first bottle of San Miguel in the Levante Club Apartments at about 11am on Tuesday morning, 12,5.
