I know but Cambodia is best in our winter, it is hot all year, the rainy season runs from June - Oct, I went in July and it was very sunny most of the time, we did have about 1 hours heavy rain in the afternoons , but it made the scenery very green and lush wheras in the dry season it is very dusty , so I am actually glad we went in the rainy season , of course if you were visiting a beach resort then the dry season would be best

just got back tonight and even though we had a fantastic time, we will not be returning, it does not have that 'spark' that lured us back this time...i will do a full trip report in the morning - too knackered at the moment to concentrate

Although I keep saying this is the last time, I keep booking more. Going out on 27th November and then booked yesterday for March 2009. Well, after all the fiasco's with visas I thought I might as well make the most of the next visa. I think next March might be the last time, for a while anyway. We have got some special dates coming up next year, so got to get our thinking caps on as to where to go later in the year. My friend has just gone back home to Australia after spending 8 weeks here, I have promised to go back there soon, but really fancy Thailand. Keep having a peep at the Thailand forum, so you will have me here for next season Fiona, but after that I might be joining you in Thailand.
Looks like I finally made the break from Goa, off to Cuba next May for our 20th wedding anniversary, Mrs FTV doesn`t know yet as I want to surprise her at the airport and she always wanted to go there so warn Pippy for me Fiona as I will be scouring her forum for a good few months

Booked accomodation for three weeks, end of Nov., will get scheduled flights later, really only going to meet up with all the "long termers" we meet every year, then next spring off back to Thailand, which we've visited several times before, and which, unlike Goa, has'nt changed for the worse over the last few years I.M.O. Before that we're of to Samur beach in Bali for three weeks, in the middle of May Alan
