Hi gang
Great to here the brochures are out for next year, I hope knowbody has booked for more than three months in case they decide to stitch us all up on the visa side with 3 month visa's we will all be in the S**t. Knowing the holiday companies have there brochures out squashes the rumours about all the holiday companies pulling out of Goa then doesn't it ??????
Anybody on this site work for one of the holiday companies and want to let us into any little secrets !!!!.
Mike
We have booked nov 08 with first choice, we are payiny the same as we did this march so we was pleased with the price, We have got the hotel we wanted and flying with first choice was brillant, so could'nt help myself had to get it booked.
Just booked for next Christmas with First Choice - £400 cheaper than the same holiday is costing us this year, so I call that a bargain!!
so what are average prices then for 2 weeks over christmas?
This year for a 2 week stay at Christmas/New Year we paid £2421, next year the same is costing £2005 - was a no brainer really for just a £60 deposit and it's with First Choice
I am very happy with our price for the Highland Beach 2 weeks including pre booked seats , 20 December for the 2 of us, £1998 , much cheaper than some other operators.
The prices for Christmas 2008 seem very good at the moment, we've got the pre-booked seats too.
First choice are looking pretty good at the moment, we are going in november 08, we up graded our room at the silversands as well for the two weeks it is £1,386, we thought that was a good price.
Two flights to Mumbai cost 474.00 pounds with Virgin
two flights from Mumbai to Goa 99.98 pounds
The apartmant is costing 350 rps = 4.20 per night which adds up to 352 pounds
Total cost = 925 pounds for the lot.
I must admit that our first holiday in Goa cost us over 2,000 pounds, as we booked with an agency and went fully inclusive that was for two weeks.
It is really easy to do it yourself, and it gets easier and easier, especially if you take the advice of the postings on this site.
yes- flights to Mumbai are cheap- we are just under £430 for our next holiday. And that is from Aberdeen. It really is worth checking that option out. Of course the package deal is often a brilliant price but dont assume you can't beat it by going DIY. You never know- the big bonus here is that you can pick the accomodation you want. I would imagine though that you would have to book early to get a decent price.
Is the 474.00 pounds with Virgin London/Bombay return for two?
Yes the 474.00 is for two returns, we are travelling on the 30th of November, I have seen flights on Virgin for cheaper since we booked this, but we are happy with the price we have paid.
Can't waaaaait. 2 weeks and 6 days to go.
Tomitma would you mind telling me, do you book direct with Virgin or do you use an agent? Many thanks
I booked direct, just go onto there website, it takes just minutes to do, and you get your tickets straight away.
Many thanks i will have a look on there website.
Two flights to Mumbai cost 474.00 pounds with Virgin
tomitma, surely this price is per person, not for the both of you
Goan Tony, it is the price for the two of us, including taxes the total cost was 237 pounds each, we booked this months and months ago March I think it was. I have seen the prices lower than this.
That's why, cheers tomitma
