Haven't been ın but I am currently ın Gumbet and have walked past the Resort and Spa.
Generally I have found that shorts and a top are acceptable at Breakfast but they expect a little more cover for dınner and evenıng meal times - Not top hat and tails but certaınly more than a bikini. Three quarter length trousers or skirts seems to be ok for ladıes and three quarter length or normal trousers for gents. Shirt, T shırt, polo shirt or blouses seems to be OK!

Hi, good choice of hotel! Neither myself or my husband can remember seeing anyone wearing shorts in the restaurants for dinner. AS has been said it's much more casual for breakfast and lunch, beachwear with a cover up or shorts and t-shirt are fine. Everyone seemed to make the effort with dinner though. We really enjoyed our holiday there and we are going back on the 1st of August for two weeks. Be sure to try the Italian and Turkish restaurants. Have a great time
I have just returned from WoW .it is a nice hotel and we never saw any dress code. I do not think it is a 5star hotel as it it let down badly by the evening entertainment. but we had a good holidayI have put a report on hotel reviews if anyone wants to read before you go.
Having first considered returning to Marmaris I'm now looking at 7 days A.I. In the WOW Resort Bodrum in October.
Reviews seem favourable, just wondering whether anyone on the forum has returned from here recently. 7 days A.I. £486.
What do you think, any other similar hotels in the area worth a look. Just think it's time to broaden my search beyond Marmaris.

We came back from WOW on 15th August. It was our second time there. It's a fantastic place in a great location. Food and service is excellent. For the price you have quoted I wouldn't hesitate to book.
What date in October is it?

Hi minione, price quoted is for the 7th October, it had actually been cheaper 2 days ago when i first started trying to gather up info.
Alternatively at £486 there's the Hotel Baia Bodrum but having only ever been to Marmaris i dont know enough about This resort or good/bad hotels?
Holiday quotd was through direct holidays, 7th October for 7 days A.I. in 4 star accomadation, theres a few come up.

I am back in Turkey 1st October but going to Kusadasi. Trust me if I had known the WOW was going to become this cheap for October I would have hung on. This really is an excellent hotel. 24 hour AI, champagne on tap in the lobby bar, fabulous food, brilliant service, amazing views, you couldn't ask for more to be honest. If you do decide to go the only tip I would give is it gets very breezy, this is welcome during the heat of the day but can feel chilly in the evenings. Gumbet is a short beachfront stroll away with plenty of bars and restaurants along the way. Bodrum is 15 minutes on the dolmus with a lovely harbour and great shopping.
The WOW has a beach party once a week, Thursday if I remember right and it's really good fun, this is followed by a foam party.
Book it! One tip, befriend Farouk in the windmill bar, he is a fantastic guy, can't do enough for you. Volkan is also brilliant and works the windmill in the evenings. Let us know what you decide on.

Forgot to say, welcome to HT.
i'm just trying to get my head round the flight times and whether i'd need a late check out room. Fly out @ 22:30 pm on Fri day the 7th landing Bodrum Saturday the 8th @ 04:25am so thats day one.
Returning Sat 15th from Bodrum @ 04:00am landing Manchester 06:25.... By my reckoning thats not quite the 7 nights because presumably we'd leave hotel on the Friday evening, that doesnt bother me but would we be required to check out earlier in the day?

Hi saracen1966 ... if you are flying out on a Friday, I would regard that (not Saturday) as your first day. Your room will be reserved for the Friday night so that you can check in immediately upon arrival in the early hours of Saturday. Thursday would therefore be your seventh night, checking out on the Friday.

Ah right thanks for that David. On that basis we would indeed need to book a late check out room
All Booked.......
Have a fantastic time and be sure to book the Turkish restaurant, it's great.
Just in case anyone has a week to spare - £668 in total for 2 people - Cardiff or Manchester
24 October with Thomas Cook. Wish I had waited now!
