hi has anyone been to the WoW borum resort in gunbet in turkey im going there in may 09 cant wait but would like to know what its like before i go lol . any help 
We found the hotel to be fantastic. Its right on the beach, has loads of bars (one being 24 hours :cheers) , and we really enjoyed the food (hence the diet when we got back!). From our room, which was more than adequate, we had a gorgeous view over the bay. Also everwhere was really clean and the staff were always friendly.

thanks so much for the info just me an hubby going it cant come to soon ive been to gumbet twice before . really need this two week break is the food ok for a fussy eater like me lol 
and is it formal drees for men of eveing . hubby only like wearing three quauter pants lol . any info gratefull . kaz x
We found the food to be really good. I enjoyed salad and bread if there wasn't anything else I fancied, but my hubbie is a bit more adventurous than me and always tried whatever was on offer lol!!!! Also, he always wore 3/4 length trousers in the evening, as did most of the men there, and no one said anythng.

Is this hotel AI for 24 hours a day? Or do they stop drinks etc at a certain time?
kedi - we went to wow bodrum in 2007 and 2006 and the bars usually closed at 1am then the nightclub closed at around 3am. I think you could get drinks served until 2am......thinking about it i think the one in the lobby is open 24 hours...yes it was because i was drinking chocolate monkeys at 4am one morning.....ouch!

Although I haven't stayed at WOW I have been on the beach and it is very nice, sandy with clear water, it is the nicest part of Gumbet beach.

Can anyone tell my where is the best place we can book our excursions from, is it cheaper to book the excursions in Gumbet town, or at the resort

It is best to book your trips in the town rather than the hotel as you will get them much cheaper.
A good day out is a boat trip, you can book them along the beach. You spend a day on the boat stopping off at four or five places and lunch is included. It costs about £10.

Can anyone tell my if there is an mossies on the complex in the night time?
There are mozzies in Gumbet so if you do get bitten get some repellent. I have found the best is Johnson's Off, you can buy it from the supermarkets and pharmacies out there, also spray yourself in lemon cologne and that should keep them away.

i need some help with the hotels dress code for the buffet & speciality restaurants....
i keep reading that there is a dress code for the restaurants (usual for AI i know) but it doesnt seem to go into detail as to what the dress code is!

I spoke with someone who went last year, they told me that they just worn nice dress shorts or 3/4, i think it will be to hot to were long pants!!
